Perfect for a narrow space
Very sturdy and perfect for a narrow space between a toilet and vanity or toilet and shower. Unlike the over the seat toilet grab bars, it doesn’t limit the amount of toilet seat width available.

Do not install in sheetrock
This item is to be installed in sheetrock and comes with sheetrock bolts. However we installed them according to directions and they pulled through the wall. Fortunately, my husband with only one leg, was able to catch himself and not fall. These grab bars need to be installed in wood not sheetrock.

Installation design needs work….imho
I bought this not as a bathroom support railing but to attach next to the bed for my 95 year old mother. The installation looked straight forward. Thankfully I only drilled one hole instead of all four at the same time. The problem I had was with the mounting screws. As a machinist I understood the concept of the nut and split sleeve. I was unable to tighten the bullet shaped nut far enough for the sleeve to open against the inside of the wall. While the concept is feasible the execution is very lacking. Time to move on to plane two.
