Fast results, cost effective; small strips
Simple, easy operation. Fast response. Strips are small (for those of us with big fingers) and you do have to check how you’re inserting them (they are not keyed or shaped like many strips). Still, easy to determine after a quick check for the arrow/triangle point. Seems accurate against other machines. I’m not using for meditation dosing, just awareness/monitoring. Doesn’t come with lancets but most of us have others we like anyway. Cost for meter and test strips is very reasonable.

Doesn’t mention you need to buy test strips
Nowhere on the product page does it mention that you need to buy test strips to make this work. I thought I could just put a sample directly on the product but alas… it apparently requires a separate purchase of test strips.

This works well with test strips that cost a lot less than the well known brands.

Seems to work, tester only kit
This kit so far seems to be ok. I don’t use app as I try to minimize things that have any health information potentially watching me. Strips insert easily and seem to test smoothly. The batteries are in the pouch which took a minute to track down. There are lancets included, just no test strips. I usually prefer at least a few strips in a new monitor just to make sure it works without investing. The finger stick tool works smoothly on mine. Always make sure to check your own situation and devices for your situation.

Works Perfectly to Monitor Blood Glucose
This glucose meter works perfectly to monitor and track your blood glucose. It is an affordable option to the more expensive monitors out there. The monitor needs a smaller sample of blood so you don’t need to prick your finger so hard that it hurts. This set includes the monitor, a case to put it in, a lancing device, ten lancets to start and instruction manual. The monitor will connect to your phone through bluetooth so you can keep track of your blood glucose.This monitor doesn’t include testing strips (not even a sample). The strips cost approximately $11 to $50 depending on the amount that you purchase. The easy touch lancets are about $5 for a box. The lancets are included in this kit but only a few to get you started. Technically you could use whatever lancets you wanted.

Diabetes Glucose Monitoring System – NO Strips/Testing Tabs
I was in need of a new glucose monitor and selected the BluLink Easy Touch. The photo had a 24 count jar of strips/tabs in it; however, this monitor set does not have any strips/tabs so it’s basically a paperweight. I expected a few strips/tabs as a starter kit for testing and to confirm accuracy and efficiency before making a more significant investment. As is, I would not recommend this. Hope this helps! 🙂
