This blanket is heavy. It is warm. At a low setting, I can feel my raynauds melt away. Washed it for the first time today. It still seems quite heavy. I’ll know tomorrow if the plug still works. Big fan.

This blanket is heaven sent. yes 12 is too high, feels like you are being burned. I leave it on 10. If I want it warmer, I throw a cover over the heating blanket. perfection!

Amazing!
This is absolutely the best blanket I have ever had. It is soft, it holds heat all over, (instead of others that only get warm where the wires are), and it is weighted, but not to heavy. It is very hard to find a heated AND weighted blanket! The only issue is that I believe this is listed at a ‘throw’ and not a full blanket, but I am only 5’2″ and I have plenty of extra room. However, someone taller may have to issues with the size. But this is honestly the softest, ‘coziest,’ blanket I have ever had in 25 yrs of trying different brands!

Washing the weighted, heated blanket
I had to wash this blanket and I was nervous at first. But of course, my washing machine would die as it begins to agitate the load. So, it already being 12lbs, it was more heavy with the water added to it. My husband had to wring it manually until we could get my washer to at least spin. We put it in the dryer on low. To say I was nervous it would not work is an understatement. But, low and behold it still works!!! I’m so glad.

It suddenly stopped working
I don’t understand what this indicates, but it keeps blinking. I tried to reset it by pluging things out, but nothing seems to work. The winter just started and now this happens

Life saver
As someone who has never had a weighted blanket, I thought I’d go for the gold and add heat to it, since I live in a frigid climate. I rarely use the heat now, though it works great and my cats like it too. It’s small like a throw but I can easily fit my whole 5’6” body under it. It’s helped me relax and fall asleep.
