Function & Good Looking
Was looking for a GOOD kitchen timer that works when I get it home and I found it. This timer is well constructed, hefty but not cumbersome, large digital read out without an overloud sound when it goes off. Easy to use. I like the all black with white digital read numbers. One handed operating because it has a magnetic back. Just put it on the frig which is in reach of my stove, turn the dial to set my time and tap the start all with one hand. I don’t have to use two hands to hold, then turn to time, then press start, then set it down somewhere that I’ll be able to find in a busy kitchen. All for under $20. I bought other timers for more and ended up throwing them out because they don’t work.Plus it looks good in my kitchen – sleek, modern look that blends into any decor.I like to so much, I gift it to friends & family. Highly recommend.

Good, but is missing a key feature
Easy and intuitive to use. I didn’t give it 5 Stars because it doesn’t display or count hours, but it’s not a big issue. I would also like to have the choice of more colors and perhaps made from aluminum or a harder acrylic.This timer is very handy in the kitchen, I stuck it to the fridge and we use it a lot.

Great timer that I’ve been using for time management in my classroom. It’s loud enough for all students to hear it and the display and design is easy for the students to see how much time remains. Very easy to use! Can even be used on the blackboard as it’s magnetic

Doesn’t work consistently
A timer should be fairly simple to use. After all, its job is a simple one. Count down a certain number of seconds and hopefully sound an alarm. This timer is just wacky enough not to do any of these things well.First, the button. The button sometimes works and sometimes it does not work. Clicking anywhere on the face of the timer produces a tacticle clicking sound and feel. Does this mean one can click anywhere and produce an action? It is hard to tell. There is a circle that is supposed to function as a button but it is simply a painted circle. The entire timer is the button. Clicking the button will sometimes stop the timer. Sometimes it does nothing. Sometimes it wakes the timer up and sometimes it does not. Pressing the button for a long period of time should reset the timer. Other times the timer simply goes dark indicating you have not pressed the button, even though you are pressing it. Then you realize the button isn’t actually working and you press it again to turn the timer on, which may not work, then finally try again to reset it. Very tiring.Second, the ring. Turning the ring simply increases the seconds (in multiples of five) for the timer. Except sometimes it does not. Sometimes it increases the minutes. How does one tell which will be increased, minutes or seconds? The manual says “rotate rapidly and assure the rotate angle is greater than 60 degrees”! If that sounds a bit confusing, well it is just as confusing to try and put into practice.Last the timer has a plastic type cheapy feel to it and the ring is loose and doesn’t have any heft to assist with rotating it to the right time.Can the timer be made to work – sure. But it is a tiring process that should be much simpler.

Scrivere di quello che già puoi leggere nella descrizione del prodotto è inutile, io voglio dirti solo quello che lì non c’è.Procediamo con ordine e con metodo.La confezione:• La scatola è in bianco e nero, pulita ed elegante.• Sul fronte si trova la foto dell’oggetto.• Sul retro le funzioni salienti del timerL’aspetto estetico:• Il timer si presenta come un disco nero• Superficie frontale lucida a specchio priva di imperfezioni• Spessore con piccoli rilievi per aumentare il grip• Il tutto molto ben rifinito e curato nei particolariLa prova pratica:• Inserite le 3 mini stilo (l’alloggiamento è nella parte posteriore del timer) il timer emette un bip• Premendo il disco frontale il timer si attiva ed appaiono 2 cifre per i minuti e 2 per i secondi.• Le cifre sono gradi e perfettamente leggibili.• Sul retro si trova un interruttore a 2 posizioni, per variare la luminosità dei numeri, ma già al minimo va più che bene ed ovviamente così si aumenta la durata delle batterie.• L’impostazione del timer è banale, si ruota la ghiera esterna e i valori sul fronte variano in continuo, raggiunto il valore desiderato basta premere il disco frontale ed il timer si avvia• Trascorso il tempo impostato si avvia il cicalino, che ha 2 tonalità, una alta e una bassa, più il muto.• Il timer funziona anche come contaminuti. Funzione davvero molto comoda.• Sulla parte posteriore sono presenti dei magneti, la loro forze è notevole e questo consente di posizionare il timer in tutta sicurezza su superfici metalliche. Io, ad esempio, l’ho posizionate sul fronte della cappa aspirante.
