Good value
I’ve been using this since May so I’ve had it for a while. I’ve had no problems with it although it did take a little while to figure out what setting to put it on. It wasn’t super comfortable until I got that part right. I’m using it on a hospital bed. It fits the bed perfectly. The motor is so quiet that I don’t hear it . I have to put my hand on the motor to see whether or not it’s working. It definitely has improved the quality of sleep and aided in pain relief.

Helps manage back pain, Easy to set up
This alternating air pressure mattress pad has a nice, comfortable egg crate texture. I got it for myself since I have constant back pain and often have trouble sleeping due to pain. I spend a lot of time lying down when my back is flaring up. This alternating pressure air mattress is comfortable and helps take the pressure off my back by having alternating air pressure. It does make a low level noise which my spouse finds slightly annoying. It has a plastic-y feel to it (it’s waterproof, made of vinyl, and it has to hold air, so that is expected) that can feel hot, so I use it underneath a more breathable but thin topper.It’s meant as a medical device to help prevent pressure ulcers for bedridden people, but it’s also very useful for people that have pain and can’t sleep comfortably. This definitely makes a difference and makes my bed more comfortable when I am having a bad night. It is 78” long x 36” wide, and inflates to 2 ¾” thick. It supports up to 300 pounds. It is simple to set up. I think it is a great value and it sometimes goes on sale so definitely give it a try. It’s such a useful topper, and better and so different than a regular foam topper.It arrived neatly folded into a surprisingly small box. The set up is quite straightforward and easy.

Got this for my mother-in-law who is getting on in years. It worked well, she liked the cushioning it gave her and the changing inflation helped. It was reasonable quiet though that’s very much a personal thing. She did find it a little hot so an appropriate covering is essential.

Comfortable, works well, very quiet in operation
Generous twin size. Item comes packaged in box with carry handle that makes a good long term storage box. Detailed instructions are included and were easy to understand. Overall a very easy to use and quick set up item. Any adjustments to pressure gauge on pump resulted in quick responses and changes. I actually tried the mattress out on the floor and was amazed at how much pressure reduction I could feel even on a hard floor. I believe this would be effective as claimed at providing pressure relief for both healing and preventing pressure sores. As with most things in life, prevention is the best course of action. Unfortunately, as also with most things, insurance companies are bent on treatment not prevention. Guess that would make way too much sense and when did human suffering ever impact their decisions? Sorry, maybe a little bitter at this point. In any case, if you are in need of a pressure relief for yourself or someone else, and insurance is unwilling to pay, this mattress may well be the answer.

Works as described but slides & controls could be better
The air pump in the persons bed is on the fritz and figured this might help which it did and it’s great for them but a huge issue was keeping it in place & ended up having to buy rubberized stay put mats. We tried directly on the bed on top of a sheet & various other ways. Also the controls are in kg (divide weight by 2.2) not in instructions & then there is 6 different zones of weights in 20kg increments & u have to dial it close to their weight & it take some adjusting to get it right weight level. It does work & it’s affordable option vs a hybrid or low air loss mattress which is why I would recommend it but think that you need to know that you might have to play with the controller to find the sweet spot & definitely something that should require 2 peopleThough I got this through the Vine program my opinions are my opinions and my reviews are straightforward just because I got it through that program does not mean automatic five stars but when a product deserves it they will get it. My reviews are honest and non bias

Didn’t last long…
In the beginning it seemed to work well. The downside… The motor is really loud. I placed it at the foot of my bed and turned on my fan to drown out the noise. I kind of noticed the difference in my sleep, even though it kind of took some getting used to sleeping on it. But after a few uses it quit working the way it should. Because I needed this, I went ahead and got another one. But the original one didn’t last a month. Maybe it was a fluke? I’m hoping the second one will last a lot longer…
