Nearly all Pulse Oximeters collect readings over 60 seconds/one full minute. This one collects the reading over 60 seconds/one minute.Read the display to collect an ACCURATE reading AFTER 60 seconds*ONE FULL MINUTE of collected measure.Agree with other reviews on battery life and durability. Accurate- but not the most durable piece of technology. Regarding battery-life, adjusting display brightness and silencing alarms and beeps may improve the battery life. Also, being vigilant/mindful that hinge is not opened and activating the display during storage/transport/pocket carry may also improve the battery life.My third purchase-#2 is forever lost to me; it was forgotten at facility🥲Display is easily readable. Display direction and display brightness are both adjustable. Even on the lowest brightness setting, the display is easy to read in the dark.*SANITIZATION-Manufacturer had advised NOT to use chemical cleaning agents.I DO IT ANYWAY using the following techniques. I use the appropriate sanitizer/disinfectant to sanitize between each use/person-wiping the inner, upper and lower scan pads and outer display and casing. I have had no problems or issues with the device in response to sanitizing the device between each subject/person/patient.If using bleach based sanitizer/disinfectant-any that leaves a non- transparent/light filtering/light obstructing residue-wipe, once dried, remove the light obstructing residue with an alcohol pad to ensure unobstructed light transfer and accuracy of pulse oximetry and perfusion index readings.*Carry/Transport CordsI don’t recall if this device comes with any kind of carry/transport cord. If it did, I removed it.Transport/carry cords-fabric cords, especially, are unsanitary, may collect potential disease causing microbes and they should be removed.

Easy to Read LED Display
Unit was ready for use immediately after inserting batteries. The several modes make it a little clumsy to use. Would prefer a more basic unit.
