“flattened tube” can slip off toilet rim and the “hand rail tube” collapses
when the “L-tube” is attached to the “regulating tube”, it has to be in the closest hole to the middle of the toilet. otherwise, the “flattened tube” which just sits on the toilet rim, slips off and the “hand rail tube” collapses. when the “L-tube” is in the hole closest to the middle of the toilet, the “hand rail tube” presses against the body and there is very little (if any) room to clean yourself. i will not return this product because i attached it to my toilet (and then took it off again after noting the safety issues). i would not like to receive one that someone else had put on their toilet. so i will not return it, but i will not recommend it and will not buy again. i’m glad i found out about these issues before my 94 year old mother tried to get up and had the rail collapse. i have 2 standard but different toilets. the issues were the same with both toilets.

Great contraption
After my mom’s back surgery this was a life saver. This enabled her to get up and down from the latrine by herself. Independence is important..
