Super useful and sturdy
I thought I might use this jar opener on occasion, but it works so well I have been using it all the time. I have small hands and a bit of arthritis, and was always asking for help with large or difficult jars. Now can open any jar on my own. The jar opener has a twist operation that expands to open a really big jar, much larger than my hand could reach. The gears easily twist down to fit a small jar and twist it open with a minimum of effort. It has multiple functions, including a small bottle opener in the handle. If you have ever found a bottle that has a defective screw top, this thing will easily twist it open. This item is very sturdy too. Excellent value for the price. This would be a great gift too.

I have sent this to countless people and it is one of my all time FAVORITE Amazon items EVER! I use it almost daily. I cut off the back instruction card and rubber band it with the jar opener (aka BIG RED). It truly is extremely easy to use and open jars with surprisingly great ease in minutes! Well Made- functions great, multi-use and I am very pleased with this product!

Wonderful tool!
My husband got this for me (and himself) now that we are getting more arthritic. I wish we’d always known about this! I have managed to get many different jars open on my own, and often I don’t even spill the pickle juice on myself :)p !It also helps open the cans with pull-tabs, that I used to cut myself on when I get them halfway open. All in all, one of the most useful tools in my kitchen.

I bought this for my mom who has trouble opening jars. This is her new favorite device. It makes it easy for her to open jars without help. From opening jars, bottles, small items like eye drops, even pull tabs on cans. It’s really made a difference for her. It’s solid, does exactly what it states it will do.
