Customers say
Customers find the rollator walker to be solidly built and easy to use, ready to use out of the box, and appreciate that it folds easily to fit into the trunk. The functionality works well on grass and gravel, and customers like its quality. The weight receives mixed feedback – while some find it super light, others say it’s heavier than expected. The wobble resistance and durability are concerns, with several customers reporting issues with front wheels wobbling and backrest straps falling apart.

Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’
Back up tell me what you’re gonna do now. I got kind of punked with the first delivery rollator in an open box, and the rollator was stuck in the folded position. My return and replacement rollator request got processed quickly. Only hassle was taping closed the open box for shipping, and waiting in time window for porch pickup by UPS. Return got confirmed to me several days later. Movin’ on.My replacement Nitro Sprint rollator was delivered in a fully sealed box one day after the return pickup and two days after Santa consumed the milk and cookies I left for him under the tree in my home. The Drive bag was better quality and easier to zip compared to the bag that came with the rollator I had returned. It was somewhat stiff to unfold the replacement rollator for the first time, but I’ve been rollin’ rollin’ rollin’ ever since. Smooth steering requires both hands for precise maneuvering control which is great. Brakes work the way they should, and adjust well. The toe pedals are a little small but nonetheless can help stabilize the rear wheel while I’m pushing down on the handles to raise the front wheels up and over curbs and similar obstacles. All of the rollator adjustment features are effective and relatively easy to use.The seat is comfortable as is sitting on the folding handle. I always follow the extremely important safety warning to NEVER SIT AND ROLL.I’m glad I had also purchased the cup/phone holder accessory. It is real handy to have, and there are several places to attach the holder to the rollator.I like the bright red color of the frame I got. It makes the rollator very noticeable in the pedestrian mode of use. I find the quality of materials and construction to be top-notch, and the functionality of the rollator is superb. The rollator is worthy of the reasonable investment I made to improve my mobility and help prevent falls.

This roller-walker is GREAT and very well made.
I had borrowed a 20+ year old walker until my PT told me to get something better. This is LOTS better. It’s light, the front wheels swivel really easily, all wheels roll easily, the hand grip height is easy to adjust and goes up quite high, the brakes are GREAT, it seems to be very well made and finished, it came quickly, it’s very stable, no assembly required.I am so glad I got this one instead of dealing with a much older and much heavier walker that the brakes didn’t work.I thought the price was very reasonable for this high tech unit. I don’t think you can go wrong with this roller-walker.

Rolls easy, light weight very sturdy seat
Good for use both in the house and yard. The seat is comfortable and sturdy enough to use as a shelf so I can bring things (like a sandwich) from the kitchen to the media room and keep my hands on the rollator the included carry bag mounts easily on front or back and is quite roomy and convenient.

Very good for a shorter person.
I’m’ 4’10. I deeded a petite size walker. Still quite adjustable for height. I really like the style. Good quality. Comes assembled. Folds side to side, so it’s easy to lift into my trunk.

Great walker – a little shorter than previous model
My husband has used the Drive Nitro walker tall walker for at least 5-6 years. He prefers it to the walker he originately got from medicare (we use it as a back up now). The only problem we have had is that the brakes wear out and they are so difficult to replace that we have had to get a new walker about every 3 years. The brakes of the old walker gave out yesterday and when our son-in-law tightened them a bit (like he has done before when the gave out), the brake wire broke. We ordered this newer version of the Nitro and we are very hopeful the newer brake configuration will last longer. We decided to order the newer version in blue. My husband likes it – he said the walker feels solid, is easy to maneuver and the new break+handle configuration seem good. I like that it is still light and the way it folds and stays folded when I put it in the carHe has only two issues with this new walker. There are 2 curb assist pads on the inside of the frame by the back wheels taking up room for his size 14 feet – the previous version had only one and he had to be careful because did get scratched because of that placement when he got in and out of the car (he has no feeling in his feet because of diabetes). He is concerned because there are now two – and frankly he doesn’t see what use they are since to use them he has to try to balance on one foot to push on it to raise the front of the walker and that is a dangerous maneuver for him.The other reason that I took a star off is that the top handles of this version of the tall Nitro walker are about 1.5″ shorter when FULLY extended than the previous (red tall Nitro) walker. We raised the handles as far as they could go and stood this walker next to the old one and there is a noticable height difference. Even though this walker is also considered tall, the difference could be and issue if anyone needs the extra height. My husband is 6’3″ and even though he noticed the difference in height immediately he feels he can adapt.

Comes fully assembled and easy to operate.
WOW! It came fully assembled with the instructions in the little carrier bag. The handles adjusted beautifully to my husband‘s 6 foot 6 height. It is strong and sturdy. My husband is a really big guy and this is a perfect fit. It is not as heavy as a wheelchair so it is easier to maneuver in and out of the car. This is a wonderful device. Please note, as I read other reviews, I noticed people referred to different models. This tall model comes only in black or red. It is specifically made for really big people, which my husband is. I am hoping we don’t run into any of the problems that people complained about, but I noticed in their pictures. They showed quite different units. So far so good. What is most wonderful about this is that my husband refused to use a walker when it was an aluminum frame with tennis balls on the bottom. This is really jazzy. At 89 years old, he is still working, and this gives him all the mobility that he needs.

Very sturdy and easy to use, yet light enough for comfort and ease. It comes fully assembled so all you need to do is adjust the height to your comfort. The height adjustment is incredibly easy to use with an easy push button release and large white numbers on a black background to assist those with low vision needs. The seat is padded and comfortably wide. The backrest is wide for lower and mid-back support and has an oblong viewing port for safety while walking. The brakes have three settings; on, off and slight resistance for downhill control. This will not run away from/with you when walking downhill. No exposed brake cables means no snagging and no stumbling or tripping. The wheels are large and solid (no flat tires here!) with a silicone-like coating to roll easily over lawns and sidewalks alike. There are small rubber feet to assist in tilting the rollerator up or down for sidewalk curbs or small bumps. The ends of the hand grips have round red reflectors that face to your rear for added visibility at night. All of the features are carefully thought out to create a very satisfying user experience. It even has a visually pleasing shape and colour – I ordered the blue model. This is not the cheapest rollerator out there, nor is it the most expensive. I would be hard pressed to suggest any improvements to the design at all, with the exception of an included mobile phone holder. A mobile phone holder is available from this manufacturer, but must be purchased separately. I did purchase this little extra and find it very handy indeed.I would not hesitate to purchase this product again if mine was ever stolen or lost. I would not hesitate to purchase this for a loved one, either.

Bigger wheels are good, the two stage brake system is especially useful going downhill.

Over a few years I have been a heavy user of walkers. Using them for transporting shopping, laundry, charity shop stuff etc. Also on rougher terrain at National Trust places etc. I have had seven walkers and three of them have have been Drive Nitro’s. Friends have had six. They win on having concealed brakes and very comfortable seat. The latest Sprite has updated its braking system which on the old version worn the tyres down quicker. Although I have managed to buy new back wheels in the past. My only complaint is please could they do more colours as with just red and black we get them mixed up when we meet up!
