    Help me see.
I have used flip-ups, like these, for years. I use them to aid in viewing the computer screen, and under my welding shield to help see the arc and beads.

Clip right over my glasses without damaging them
Mine came assembled seem to be well made. I wear them over my progressive lenses, which are made for far and near vision (“short corridor”) to work on my computer. They work great!

Not as helpful as I hoped.
These help some with focusing on distance after working on cell phone. But not as much as I hoped.

    Better than prescription
My husband lost his prescription reading glasses on the way to the airport. Ugh!!! So, we’re in another state, and what the heck are we going to do???? Get these clip-on readers. That’s what we’re going to do!! He put these over his prescription glasses to read and VOILA! He’s reading on his own! Before they came in (next day) I had to read everything for him. Honestly, in my humble opinion, I think he’s better off with these than his prescription. He’s always switching back and forth because he refuses to get no line bifocal. Haha

Web page says 43mm but what came was 36 mm
I want fill coverage on the lens !NOTE; these are only good for close work.

    Poor Optical Quality
Although inexpensive at around $12, I found them lacking as the optical quality is not good. Images are indeed magnified, but they are fuzzy. Also, the “blue/UV blocker” gives everything a slight amber cast when compared with real glasses, and that only makes the image quality worse (I am using these to read music manuscript and the pages look yellowed and old with it). I liked the flip up, and that made it very easy to compare these with the reference. Overall, not worth it for me. Too bad. I will have to look for the same sort of thing but made out of proper optical material such as CR-39. Undoubtedly they’ll be much more expensive at the optometrist’s, but inexpensive glasses that don’t improve your vision are pointless. These might be OK for someone with non-critical needs who is looking more for convenience than optical quality.
