I LOVE it!
Just enough weight and coverage for what I need.

Slightly Pricey, Yet Calming, Lap Blanket
Cute blanket, nice color, great weight, but a little pricey.I love the hand shape of the blanket, as well as the additional details that have been incorporated into the design. The beautiful green color is a little darker than the listing photo, and it is really pretty. I chose the 5lb blanket for my daughter-in-law, as she is petite and I didn’t want to the blanket to be unwieldy for her. She suffers from anxiety, so this blanket is the perfect size for her to drape over her shoulders when she is feeling anxious or to wear on her lap during Zoom calls. It works for this purpose just as I had hoped. The lap blanket is on the pricier side of those I have ordered previously. While I do appreciate the included carrying bag, I do not think that the addition of a storage bag elevates this product significantly enough to justify the higher price tag.Overall, it’s a thoughtful and functional gift that serves its purpose well, even if the price feels a little steep.

Cool look, nicely made
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this blanket. Stitching is excellent, and I couldn’t find any defects in the fabric. It has a slight sort of crosshatch pattern worn in, which adds some nice texture. The Hamsa hand shape and stitched patterns look really cool, with various symbols all combined. I’m also a fan of the green color I chose. The only real complaint I have is, some of the compartments (meant to keep the glass beads distributed) are a bit large. This is especially apparent around the edge, where the beads migrate, leaving the border without additional weight.Size-wise, it certainly won’t cover anybody but younger children, but it’s great as a lap blanket or just to cover your torso. It works great on my legs to sooth sore knees, or on top of another blanket when laying down. Despite the thickness, it isn’t overly warm. The cotton breathes pretty well.I selected the “7.0 Hundredths Pounds” option, and it weighs almost exactly seven pounds.Care instructions are easy: machine wash, tumble dry, iron low. In addition to the text, it has the following symbols: Machine wash 40C/105F or below, do not bleach, line dry, iron low, tumble dry. I machine washed on cold, then tumble dried the first time to remove excess lint. It came out fine, and certainly feels sturdy enough to withstand the tumble dryer normally, but I’m still probably air dry it just in case.A canvas zip-up storage bag is included. It might seem a little expensive for its size, but most others are polyester or microfiber. This being 100% cotton, combined with the intricate stitching and high quality, make that price worth it.

Nice cotton material, well distributed stuffing
Absolutely love this weighted blanket. First, the lovely design, from the hamsa-hand shape to the intricate stitching and details incorporating multiple spiritual symbols. The stitching also serves well to keep the weighted material distributed throughout the blanket so the whole thing is weighted evenly. It’s a great size, a nice neutral color, and I’m showing it on top of my yoga blanket (full size opened up Mexican yoga blanket, for size reference), which is on top of a biomat, so it’s been just lovely letting this weighted blanket warm up with the mat and then getting underneath it. It’s also summer in the desert, so I love that my body is partially (and yet still well) covered by it. And that the cotton is breathable.I washed it upon opening, and let it rack dry. Came out well, can tell it’s nice cotton by the semi-rumpled but natural vibe. And seems durable, I’m sure my cats have been all over it and their claws need to be trimmed, but no pills or pulls so far. This is definitely the blanket I didn’t know I needed, and it’s worth the price.

Weight isn’t even
I’m returning it. The blanket only has weighted beads on the center…the outermost just feels like blanket. The weighted material is not evenly distributed. Good size for travel, but quality was not there.

**Comfortable, Comforting**
I’m six feet tall, and I frequently use this in my recliner. The size is between a lap blanket and a full cover, which I find ideal, and the shape is unique and appropriate to its middle-ground purpose. I think this size is referred to as a “throw,” but I don’t really know. The storage/carry bag is well-made and a nice touch. I like the texture of a fabric to be rather stiff, not quite like denim, but not too soft and fluffy. This weighted blanket is suitable in that regard. The description of soft cotton suggests it would be lighter, but I prefer it the way it is. And as a weighted blanket, I think it needs some strength to the outer material. The color goes quite well with my teal-green recliners, so I’m glad that this muted dark green was one of the available options. At $50, this is a reasonable value for something that should last for years.

If texture is a thing, this may not be for you
This is my first weighted item but not my first calming/sleep aid. I definitely think it did help me sleep a little deeper when I used it during a nap. However, I do not like the texture of the exterior fabric. I like soft, fuzzy things and the fabric on this is not a smooth one. Almost the entire time I was trying to fall asleep I had to fight the desire to toss it off and maybe get my Hug Sleep. That being said, I think the weight is “evenly” distributed, especially with it’s unique shape. (Which I do love.) The stitching looks good and it’s quite sizable. It also comes in a nifty storage bag.

Nice carry bag and really well made and not too heavy but stays in place
Good sized Lap Blanket for those chilly nights and comfortable too. Great for those of us with poor circulation in our legs during the winter months to enjoy a family movie in comfort. Well made, I believe it will last for awhile without any damage to the threads or fabric. Easy to wipe down with a damp cloth if something were to spill. Great value and Quality for the Money. Just to mention again it is definitely a comfortable weight for your lap and doesn’t hinder any movement at all.
