Cute, simple, nice, WORKS GREAT!
I bought this as an idea for my grandchildren. When I watch them I always like to keep them engaged, no matter if it’s simple things, just something to keep them off those darn phones and tablets and get them moving! LOL.Timing everything and making it a competition, a friendly one. Simple things like solving flash cards or racing from telephone pole to telephone pole. And this will work nicely. I have a timer on my phone, but this is just way nicer! Besides, they like to do the timing themselves for each other, but under my supervision so no suspicion of cheating. And having them potentially dropping my $1800 cell phone (Z Fold 5) always stressed me out. But like I said, this is great for this! I also love the countdown graphic! It’s a nice touch because you can set a custom time for it to countdown, and with the graphic it adds extra pressure/fun!It’s also a 12/24 hour clock when it’s magnetically attached to my desk, and added bonus! Also good for setting an 8 hour timer, if you get my meaning. LOL.So, this has many various uses, and does them all excellently.A+++++

Quick, Fast Action Timer
This timer is pretty small, measuring about 5″W x 2″H 0 it fits in the palm of your hand. Requires two AA batteries, not included. the back of the timer has a magnetic strip to mount on a fridge or metallic surface. I certainly wouldn’t suggest mounting it to the side of a toaster oven, like the item’s product page illustrates.Timer is supposed to be designed for those who have ADHD or respond better to visual indication. For those individuals, this timer should help by providing a visual bar of the remaining time in addition to the LCD countdown digits. Timer sounds an alarm once it counts down to zero. Sound can be set to high, low, or off.Another thing I noticed…if you don’t reset it after the timer counts down to zero and alarms, it will automatically start counting UP, showing you the elapsed time since the countdown to zero happened. This can actually be very handy should you be distracted or called away when the countdown timer went off – you’ll know that elapsed time.I really like the simplicity of setting this device as a quick and dirty countdown timer that requires little thought. Each press of the 1-Hour, 5-minute, 1-minute, or 1-second adds that amount of time to the total to be counted down…i.e., press the 5-minute once and the 1-minute twice for 7 minutes to countdown. Pretty cool.Display is typical LCD, nothing fancy there; it’s legible in good lighting and not so legible in dim lighting. Be sure to remove the protective strip on the back pad at the magnetic or it won’t stick too good.Hopefully this timer will help those who may not respond immediately to numerical countdowns and are better served by a visual indication. I only wish the display was a bit larger and more readable from a distance.

Perfect timer for game nights!
I got this because I do a lot of board/card game nights with friends. And many we need a timer for. It can be annoying to pass around someone’s cell phone with a timer, plus then your notifications aren’t private. I got this to act as our game timer and it’s perfect! It has buttons to easily add 1 hour, 5 minutes, 1 minute, and 1 second to the time. I was able to easily set the “custom” button to 90 seconds (which we use most often). There’s also a “clock” mode that you can set to see the time. We don’t really use it for that, but I could see that being handy in some uses. I love that it stands up on its own, and has a magnetic strip on the back so we can put it on the fridge or a can to sit up higher for everyone to see. The visual of the bar for the countdown is also helpful for a quick glance to know how much time is left! Overall, great countdown timer!

OK Timer
I got this timer to use in place of my stove timer, which is so quiet it is hard to hear. All I wanted was a simple countdown timer that I could take with me into the family room so that I could hear when I was cooking. I am disappointed in this timer. It is simple if you want to time something in whole minutes or an hour, but is not so simple when you want to set a specific number of minutes. The instructions that came with the product are not very helpful – had to play around with all of the buttons to figure out how to use it. For something as simple as setting a timer, this is way too complicated.

Aggravating
This should be a simple device. But it is more aggravation than it is worth. First it requires “number seven ” batteries. These are apparently Chinese triple as. It is difficult to get the back open, impossible if you are a child orca senior. Programming is not intuitive especially if you want to customize. The magnetic strip holds, at least for the time being. The screen is unreadable at a distance. Much better out there.

Works very well
After installing 2 AAA batteries, we gave this a test. It’s easy to use, my wife loves to figure things like this out, and it was quick to get up and running. She set several times and tried them out. It’s nice to have the exact count down, but if you are too far away to read it, it has a bar graph you can see from a distance to be able to tell about where it’s at. A nice feature is the count up after the count down runs out, so you know how long it’s been since you missed the time.We have a double oven, but it only has one timer. So we would have to go to the utility room to set a timer on the microwave, now we can have one handy in the kitchen. This unit has a rubber pad over the magnet so it doesn’t slip down your refrigerator, it sticks very well. This is going to make large cooking projects, like holidays, much easier.
