Easy to use for one skilled in taking blood pressures
I have been looking for just exactly this and finally found it. It’s well-made and super easy to use, considering I have been taking blood pressure for many years for other people. My mom had one like this and she was happy, and I am very happy to have been able to find it for myself. The only downside was I had to put all the pieces together, which was no big deal. I just found that amusing.

Surprisingly good for price
I had been using a battery operated meter but got tired of swapping out (rechargeable) cells. Decided to go back to manual. Was a bit apprehensive about buying this due to the low price, thinking it might be poor construction or inaccurate. But no, it’s well made, gauge is solidly built metal. Readings are similar to what I get on my battery meter, which I already knew was quite accurate by comparing to results at doctor’s office.

Lasted 10 days
As a nurse I prefer listening to my BP over using a digital machine. Taking blood pressure is a skill and to measure by listening requires some training. With that said, this BP cuff is my second. The first one lasted less than a year. I bought another brand after that and one of the tubes cracked at the bladder and the gauge went on that one. These are basically all pretty cheap. I just got this cuff, no, 2 on 12/20 and on 12/30, only 10 days later the latex bulb for pumping up the bladder failed. I had another one so replaced it but again, cheap! I don’t recommend. Will paying 10 or 20 bucks more get you a better set? Good question. At this point I doubt it.

Great BP cuff for the price, but…
Great BP cuff, and very easy to use. The price is definitely right, especially if you get free shipping. However, if your upper arm is thinner than most people’s, then the cuff will not fit (the “male” Velcro will actually wrap around and miss the “female” Velcro on a thin arm — I am 6′ 1″ and 147 pounds, and it just barely attaches to my arm). Other than that, I would recommend this unit highly.

Self blood pressure monitoring
I believe in keeping tabs on blood pressure. Having said that, I recommend manual checks over digital monitors. I’ve been a practicing physician for over 30 years. I have found nothing superior to good ole fashion evaluations. This monitor gives anyone the ability to check their hypertensive status at home. The digital monitors are okay, but they inevitably read higher than manual monitoring. This monitor comes with the ability to get a large adult cuff instead of the standard cuff for larger arms. The monitor is well constructed.

Basic and does it’s job
I purchased this because I needed to practice taking blood pressure since I volunteer with my school’s ambulance. I’m content with my purchase, it works fine and gets the job done. The diaphragm was attached to the blood pressure cuff and I didn’t like that, I almost went to return it, but the diaphragm piece can be unscrewed and detached from the cuff. A couple of other notes, the diaphragm is single sided and the earpieces may hurt your ears because its made of a hard plastic.

Perfect reading. Easy to use

I believe if the user knows what they’re doing with it, then the result is accurate & good enough for home use. Good for those who are learning how to measure blood pressure manually. I can totally recommend it!

I ordered this manual blood pressure monitor with high hopes, but unfortunately, it’s not working as expected. Right out of the box, I noticed that it was difficult to get accurate readings. The gauge doesn’t seem to respond properly, and the cuff doesn’t inflate or hold pressure correctly. I followed the instructions carefully and even had someone else double-check to make sure I was using it properly, but we had the same issue.Very disappointed, as I was relying on this for regular blood pressure monitoring at home. I will be returning this product and looking for a more reliable option. Not recommended.
