Doesn’t grab
I’d stay away from these and order something that firmly fits over the lid of the jar you’re trying to open. These don’t grab the jar… at least they don’t when you have arthritis. I wouldn’t buy these again.

I like that these are a bit thinner than some and have a smooth side and a slightly textured side. Some I’ve had are thicker and too textured to grip well. Good price too.

I had a set of something quite like this that I purchased a long time ago (different brand) and they were great. I struggle opening lids from jars and bottles due to physical disability, and these really worked to help me be independent in the kitchen. After many years, I lost my set and decided to replace them. I picked these due to teh lower price, and rather regret not spending a little more to get something better from a different brand.These weren’t as good as the other brand I had before. Only one side of each mat has a gripped texture, which I feel makes it harder to open jars and bottles. The mats are also kinda small, which makes it harder to use as it is difficult to get a comfortable grip when opening larger jars.I plan to shop for something from another brand at some point soon, though these will do until then.
