My mom has a former Parkinson’s which is called Cbs cortical basil syndrome. These spoons are made for someone with Parkinson’s the big handle makes it easier to hold utensils definitely has helped her get a little Independence not much we just use the fork and spoon not the knife

Great, comfortable design
Great for people struggling with traditional silverware. Easy to grip and comfortable to hold. The red part of the handle is large, bigger than a cigarette lighter in size. Bought 3 sets to make sure they are always available and clean.

My mother has arthritis and also can’t see well. It would take her so long to eat because she would get food on the spoon and it would fall off before she got it to her mouth and couldn’t get food on the spoon to begin with. My mother used these for the first time last night and her plate was clean. She finished her meal before it got cold because she could get the food on the utensil and to her mouth. These utensils are great. It made meal time much more easy and enjoyable for my mother. The only reason I gave a 4 is because I can’t figure out how to bend them but I’m sure that’s just me not the item. I mention the spoon a lot because my mother finds it easier to eat with a spoon because of her sight.

These are okay, however the spoon did bend a bit when trying to eat ice cream out of a hoodie size cup. The fork and knife are fine so far
