    Nice device, exceptional service
The device is nice and well-built. It was easy to understand and use and captures information regularly. Downloading of logs is easy via the laptop, though, we wish it had a longer memory to dump readings once a week or so. The battery life works as advertised. The screen is bright and can be read even outdoors easily. It is used by my aging parents to reduce concerns with Oxygen saturation in the blood, and it works great. Our device finger band broke after 2 months. As it was out of Amazon’s return period, contacted the the customer service. The customer service was amazing, and they resolved it promptly by sending us a replacement.Would recommend the device if you are looking for one.

    Impressed
My wife began alerting me to snoring six months ago. I have friends and family members using CPAP , which I hate even to consider. However, my ENT doctor says sleep apnea cannot be ignored. The body needs oxygen, apparently :}. My ENT Doc set me up for a sleep study, which diagnosed a mild case of apnea. But it was just a one-night test. How can I commit to a lifetime remedy based on one result? I am left with a choice between a CPAP setup and a mouth appliance that will keep my airway open as I sleep. I opted for the mouth appliance. I just can’t bear being hooked up to an airhose for the rest of my life. I am 65 years old. My mouthpiece will be ready in about two weeks. But how will I know if it works? I needed a before-and-after method of testing oxygen levels. I searched for a device similar to the one used for that overnight sleep study. I purchased the SleepO2 Wrist Recording Pulse Oximeter by EMAY because it had the same wrist recorder and finger sensor as the sleep clinic. It was a miserable failure due to an absurd finger sleeve. I sent it back and ordered this Wellue O2Ring set up. It was half the price, and it was super comfortable. There is no setup other than downloading the app. The sensor begins recording by just slipping the ring over the thumb. The sensor stops recording and sends the data to the app just by removing it. There is an easy-to-read graph and a score provided by each report so you can compare one night to the next. There is a variable vibration option that will let you know when your O2 level has dropped below a level of your choosing. This is a huge benefit since I want to be awakened if I’m not getting enough oxygen. The app lets you email a pdf copy of the night’s record. I have been keeping printed copies so I can compare the results after receiving the mouth appliance. Finally, I had a question for tech support and received an answer the next day.

    Great product, easy to use.
Great product! This does everything I hoped it would. Setup was easy with an app. Then you just wear the ring, it powers up when you put it on and the data gets stored in the ring. It recharges via micro USB. You can view live stats on the ring or in the app. You can also open the app later and the data automatically downloads to give a history of oxygen levels and heartbeat along with a motion. It allowed me to see when oxygen levels go lower and for how long. It has alarms if your oxygen drops below a level that you select. The ring can vibrate a lot, a little or not at all. The app can also sound an alarm if you want that. I’m close to getting an advanced CPAP so I can now see charts for before it’s usage and then during use once I have my machine.

    Super handy
My dentist suggested I purchase this as we are adjusting my oral appliance to replace my CPAP. We realize this is not to be used for true medical care. She does have these for her patients as a daily temporary monitor so she suggested this brand for me. I did wear it while having a doc ordered test on the same finger at the same time. Both medical professionals said the results were very similar. Do what you wish with that info, but note they have a disclaimer that it shouldnt be used for diagnosis. This is surprisingly comfortable. I wear it on my pointer finger bc I have large (size 10-11 ring) fingers and it doesn’t leave a mark or budge at all. The vibrations woke me the first few nights, but you can adjust those down enough to not feel them. The app crashes once every two weeks while uploading, but it reboots instantly and thus far haven’t lost any data, it just redownloads immediately, so it doesn’t bother me. I get two to three nights on one charge, depending on how many apnea notifications go off I suppose. The app is clean and gives good info. I can take a screenshot and send it to my physicians daily as they requested . Product is highly recommended. I did purchase a different brand/type prior to this and returned it for many reasons.

Nice product. But it had a short lifespan for me.
Mine was very helpful until it stopped working about 6 months(max) after I bought it.I used it quite a bit – not just at night(although a ‘through the night reading’ was what I bought it for)While it worked, it provided very helpful data that displayed well in nice, professional looking charts with color breakdowns, and were recorded/saved on my iPhone; it interfaced with the phone well. I used it on the treadmill at the gym – without the phone – and the simple O2 and pulse were displayed well on it’s own little screen. It was great. I just let the time pass and did not return it within 12 months. Perhaps you will have better luck. I’m sure the company(and Amazon) would honor the 12 month warrantee. I may have used it too much, and sliding it on/off my finger may have stressed the soft rubber lining which is next to your skin. Perhaps it is best used as a nighttime device or for less repeated daytime use. I think it was the on and off the finger action that broke the device. The only bothersome thing was the alarm that sounded when the O2 and pulse dropped just a bit below normal; I was not exactly suffering from bradycardia and the alarm was a bother when trying to stay asleep.
