Sleek, compact and sounds great!
A few years ago I was given the much smaller, round version of this and it was good. But I purchased this larger, more current model for my desk and it’s wonderful. Don’t be fooled by it’s compact size – This produced a nice rich sound. Easy to set up and trust me — I’m terrible at anything technical but this is easy and quick to set up. The design is sleek and will work in any room or setting.

Best way to start a smart home, good quality sound!
I love its smart home capabilities! Good sound too, great value on discount! In a city with bipolar wether, it’s nice to ask if it will rain and google responds “probably not, x% chance of rain for next 5 hours” or ask it to turn of outlets, lights, bulbs, play music, start roborock, and on top of being a good quality speaker. It actually looks stylish too!

Music lovers will be happy
Purchased this to add to our existing collection for our google smart home. This sits in between our open living and dining room. It has great sound, clear treble, and surprising but clear bass. The volume easily fills two medium sized rooms, and if you already have one, you can create speaker groups to fill you house with music. It’s the most affordable way I’ve found to get whole house audio, plus the added benefit of smart speaker functionality. It has a clean form factor that works with most homes, doesn’t Stan out too much, but gets noticed omces the turns start.

Great speaker, and google assistant is better than Alexa
I initially bought an Amazon echo speaker but found that Alexa just seemed to be too limited in it’s functionality, plus we use Youtube music which apparently isn’t compatible with Alexa. So, we returned the echo speaker and got this instead and we’re very happy. Google’s assistant is much more capable in our experience, plus this speaker sounds pretty good and works seamlessly. We have had a few instances where we were unable to turn the music off either by voice or by touching the pause button on the speaker. We were able to turn the volume nearly all the way down so it wasn’t a big issue, but it has happened a couple times which is why I’m only giving it four stars instead of five.

Works well. Google home not so much
Works well sounds good. One MAJOR drawback is the Google home platform. I have wasted weeks of my time trying to make the automations to work correctly. Getting in touch with customer service is impossible. The links they provide just take you in an endless loop. The product is decent. The platform it works on not so much. Save your time ,money, and frustration. Just go with Amazon. I converted from Google in a day and I have about 100 smart products in my home.
