Customers say
Customers find the smartwatch classy and appreciate its health tracking features, with one noting it’s perfect for monitoring vitals while awake. The watch is easy to use and works as advertised, though some report it becomes unusable. Battery life receives mixed feedback, with some praising it while others say it doesn’t last as expected. Sleep tracking and accuracy also get mixed reviews, with several customers reporting poor performance in these areas.

Fantastic
Super glad that I purchased this device. Having AFib and asthma, and needing to lose some weight, I want something to monitor my key heart health stats during work outs. As a health monitoring instrument, nothing outside of a doctor’s office beats the ScanWatch 2. The Apple Watch comes close (at more than twice the price) but cannot measure blood oxygen as this can.I researched a lot of devices and this has everything I needed. It measures pulse and heart rhythm plus SpO2. It detects irregular heart rhythms and irregular respiration during sleep. It has step counting, workout monitoring, gps tracking, and easy compatibility with iPhones. Plus the battery lasts for two weeks or more. All of that in a sleek watch face is a modern miracle. It also offers some smartwatch features that I don’t care about like notifications of phone calls and texts. The app that accompanies this watch is essential and quite well configured.I wish that Withings would drop the analog watch face and offer this with a full face digital screen. As it is, the digital screen is a tiny inset at the top of the face. At the bottom of the face is another small inset “activity dial” which is utterly useless.Setting aside that minor complaint, this device is one of those rarities that does its job very well and looks decent at the same time. Highly recommended.

Quality Smart health Watch
Great quality and styling. Provides excellent Health data right on the watch face and greater detail on the associated app. Totally satisfied with this purchase.

Best choice for me – More health, less phone in my life.
I love the look of the traditional watch and its ability to track my health data. Part of my overall health kick is to get less involved with my phone, so it’s nice to be able to look at the time or start an exercise without being distracted by other things. It’s hard to express just how perfect this is. I choose to get call notifications, but I turn off general notifications. All communication between the phone and watch is one-way, so no responding, music controls, etc.The step tracking, heart rate, and Sp02 seem right on. It lasts for about 2 to 3 weeks for me, which is great because I wear it all the time and so have my sleep tracking (including level, heart rate, and SpO2) and 24-hour hear tracking. I use the EKG once a week or and it seems to work well, but I’m not sure of its value other than occasionally. Temperature is included as a “delta” from the average value and it’s interesting to see the differences when exercising or sleeping.I think it claims 30 days, which I’m not getting, and which is the main reason for 4 stars. I don’t think I’m doing anything excessive, although I do track hear rate and I use the workout feature (stationary bicycling) about 3 hours a week. It also doesn’t have it’s own GPS, so if you want to track an outdoor walking or biking workout, you need to bring your phone. It uses the phone’s GPS, which seems well integrated once you have the location sharing settings all in place.I have a scale and blood pressure cuff from the same manufacturer and it’s great to have all the things in the same place. My doctor had a question the last visit and having blood pressure history helped us make a choice about my health options. The connected scale is good too and nice to have this all in one place.I don’t have many complaints – there is what seems to be a “seconds” subdial, which is really a step goal tracker. Once around is your goal (set via the app). It would be nice to be able to make this a legitimate seconds hand or, even better, and overall activity tracker that would show progress to other things. I don’t really care about my step goal on days I’m on the bike for an hour, for example. I just want the overall activity (similar to Googe Fit “Heart Points” based on heart rate, duration, and activities). Alternately it might be good to have a longer term trending health score – some measure to show my sleep/blood pressure/activity level, etc. are all in a good zone. There are measures for these on the app, from 0 to 100, and maybe just nice to put these on the subdia. But not a big deal.It integrates with my workout apps through Android “Health Connect”, which works well (for example, I can see heart rate from my watch in the Google Fit app), but if I use my watch and my workout app (e.g Zwift/Strava) to monitor a workout, I can sometimes get duplicate workouts in the app.

1 month of use and won’t charge
Update…. Rating changed from 2 stars to 1Ordered replacement charge base to rule that being the problem. Sadly that didn’t work. Watch still did not charge. Certain the problem is with the watch. Haven’t had watch for 2 months! Would be nice to hear back from Withings customer support.Watch has clean simple look with nice features. Perfect Father’s Day gift. I have other Withings products and they work well. I expected the same from this watch. Sadly that is not the case. When I first received the watch I charged it and helped Dad get it set up. It worked great, that was until it came time to charge it again. Now the watch will not charge. 7/16 (conveniently 11 days after the return window closed) was the last day of use despite multiple attempts at charging & following what little troubleshooting tips are available in the manual and on Withings site. It is difficult, if not impossible to get ahold of anyone with Withings customer support. I reached out to Amazon customer support on 7/18, the representative that I spoke with told me he would sent request for return outside the window, I’ve heard nothing. For the cost of this item I expect more from both a reliability and customer service standpoint. For this I can only give this watch 2 stars and feel obligated to give a buyer beware warning.

Part of large system
Tight integration with other Withings monitoring products. Key metrics and a very long battery life. Up to 30 days.

Works great till it don’t. Surprisingly poor support
Loved the watch. Great battery life , far less bulky than an Apple Watch. Data seems very accurate. Noticed (right after an update ) that all heart and sleep data quit showing up. Opened a support case and they had me do all the normal things – wipe the watch , reinstall it , check this and that and nothing helped . It was agonizingly slow – each day they would email me one little thing to do and I would reply instead of giving me the whole list of things to try. After several days of this , they suddenly said it must be the watch , return it , and then I would get a new one in a few weeks . They emailed a link for me to fill out which tells me that I will get an email in a few minutes with a return label – that email never comes – and no it’s not in my spam . Tried several times still nothing. Guessing I will have to open a new case (they closed the original one ) and go through all this again. Very frustrating for a watch that is only a couple months old.

Very happy with this watch after just 2 weeks…. This is my second scanwatch, the back fell of the last one after only 20 months, so I was refunded under warranty and bought this new model as replacement. Hopefully it lasts longer. But I am pretty hard on my watches, I don’t take it off for anything, so if is not tough enough, I will know soon enough…(Note I have the 38mm watch not the 42mm in the heading)

Not accurate with steps count. I had the previous version which was much better. This version just doesn’t do its job. Also the app is not full of bugs

Nada recomendable
