Great product . Very useful for high falling risk people
Worked really well for my dad after his stroke , needed bed alarm for middle of the night when everyone asleep . It is very sensitive and easy to use . Very loud and annoying as well but does the job of alerting , avoiding possible danger for who ever is getting out of bed on their own .

    Great product!
Excellent product! Aids in the safety of knowing my mom is getting up during the night. She’s 85 and thinks she can still get up and go like she used to. But has had many minor falls. Now we know when she’s trying to get up and can get to her.

Both pads work well. Pushing the reset button 3 times to silence the alarm is great, as well as the added security for the cord connection to the alarm box. Now my father-in-law cannot get up without one of us there, thus decreasing his falls. Just wish each pad had its own alarm box. Switching between the two is time consuming.

    Had to return
The final product was useful. But the product was broken when we first received it; the company wanted to charge us shipping for the replacement alarm. After speaking to the president, they allowed that they would send the “working” alarm this one time!! I didn’t feel like we should have to pay to receive a working brand new product!!

    The products work fine. However
The products work fine. However, there is only one monitor box for two pads. I would have preferred to have to monitor boxes – one for each pad – so I do not have to unplug and plug in when patient (husband) goes from room to room. It’s just one more thing to have to do – which should be necessary. I would like to purchase an additional monitor box – since one did not come with each product, however, I haven’t been able to figure out how to do so.

Not a good fit for us.
This alarm was not the best choice for my mom. The assisted living facility thought she needed one, but she gets up and down on her own too much for this to be practical. The on-off switch is tamper-proof and you have to use a screw driver to access to make adjustments. You can turn off the alarm when it sounds by holding down the button for a few seconds. My mom has Alzheimer’s and was upset with the noise this made when she stood up. She would be this way for any product like this, so that is not a negative about the product. She was in an assisted living facility and they just wanted to be alerted when she got up. She is able to get up and down safely most of the time, so she is not really ready for an alarm of this type. If she gets to the point of really needing a product like this, we will probably get one that does not require a screwdriver to access the adjustment panel. That is really my main issue with this particular brand. Also, the included chair pad and bed pad are nice, but there is only one alarm unit included, so you would have to buy an extra one if you wanted to keep both in place, or you would have to move the control every time the person changed locations. That may not be a problem for most if a person is truly chair- or bed-bound. My mom is not. She is very mobile and we are not using alarms right now. She moved to a different facility that has not required one yet. I am sending this back.
