Customers say

Customers praise the keyboard’s quality, smooth typing experience, and appreciate its sound, noting it’s not overly loud or thocky. The design is sleek and minimalist, and customers find it well-built. The wireless connectivity and functionality receive mixed feedback – while the wireless connectivity is reliable, some report connectivity issues, and while the keyboard works perfectly when it functions, some mention it stops working. Battery life is also mixed, with some finding it impressive while others report poor performance.

    Great Wireless Keyboard
I hooked up my PC to my main TV for easier media viewing, so I wanted a solid keyboard that I could use on the couch. This fits the bill!I’m no keyboard snob and have very little experience with higher quality keyboards, but this almost everything I could’ve asked for in a wireless. The size is perfect for more portable use, although it’s a bit on the heavier side. I prefer heavier, durable frames so this wasn’t an issue for me.My biggest issue was the default keys that it comes with. They don’t shine through, so you’re not able to see the keys in dark rooms. Easily remedied with some aftermarket keycaps, but if you don’t want to swap out and will be in a darker room then you should look elsewhere. I believe Corsair sells a variant directly through their website but it’s harder to find in stock. The keys feel great. Very satisfying feeling and sound. Not too loud but a nice little clack, with a lightly firm lock when you push each key to the bottom. I wish my main keyboard felt this nice! There’s a scroll wheel that has multiple uses (can change in iCUE software). The knob feels great, especially for adjusting volume.Battery life is also excellent! I’ve charged it maybe 3 times. It kinda let’s you know when it’s low on battery because the LEDs won’t turn on (or will suddenly shut off). The keys continue to work but that’s normally been my cue to charge. Not bad considering it’s gotten pretty good usage over the period of time, but I am also cognizant of the LEDs. Thankfully there is a convenient switch on the left side of the frame that turns off the LEDs.

Thocky and Tactile Keyboard with Great Lighting and Easy-to-Use Software for Limitless Options
This keyboard feels amazing. I went from a gaming keyboard (G710+ with cherry brown switches) to this Corsair with MLX yellow switches that are thocky and tactile. I had never used these switches before, but they feel so good. After taking several typing tests, my speed is a little faster, and my error rate is way down, likely due to the keys being less sensitive and not causing an accidental press. The lighting is great for me; I don’t like a lot of glaring lights around me when watching TV or using my PC, so the color and lighting options available through the iCUE software allow me to tweak the settings to the perfect amount. When I have the lighting up all the way, it is glaring, bright, and distracting to me. Pictures show lowest and brightest light settings with blue light. The lighting can also be turned off completely or can be moving. Honestly, there are a ton of options that are fun to play with. I have one profile set up to activate when using Photoshop, which changes the color of the keyboard and some of the key assignments. Happens automatically and saves time.I also love the profile and Bluetooth options that are available with this keyboard. It makes portability and convenience immediately available. I intend to use it plugged in 98% of the time, but the Bluetooth connection to my PS4 worked great when tested. The battery lasted a long time. I never got it halfway down.It is surprisingly heavy, but it feels sturdy and well-built. I don’t feel like the keycaps will break (like my old keyboard), and I love the feel of the control dial; smooth with bumpy haptics. The layout of this keyboard is different, but nicely compacted, and I found it easy to adapt to these subtle changes. I was worried the DEL key was too close to backspace, but after weeks, I’ve had no issues accidentally hitting it during fast-paced work sessions. It came packed nicely in the original box (I got it used), and included a USB-C cable, keycap puller, and booklet. This is a major upgrade for me, not only with the typing experience, but with the amount of space I get using a smaller keyboard like this. I also 3D printed a keyboard stand to move it out of the way when I need to take a lot of handwritten notes, draw in a sketchbook, or draw on my tablet.I am happy with this purchase and cannot recommend it enough. Amazon warned me that the item was frequently returned, but I do not understand how that’s possible. I read reviews, watched videos about this keyboard on YouTube, and did some more research on Corsair’s site. This keyboard is awesome. Hands down.

    Amazing keyboard
I’m really enjoying the Corsair K65 Plus Wireless. The keystrokes are incredibly smooth and satisfying to type on— not overly loud or “thocky,” but just enough to make typing enjoyable. It’s compact, so it doesn’t eat up desk space, and going wireless has been a game-changer. I was tired of dealing with cables cluttering my setup. Now everything looks clean and sleek.Performance-wise, it’s super responsive with no noticeable lag, even during fast-paced use. If you’re looking for a high-quality wireless keyboard that combines great feel, compact design, and strong performance, this is a solid pick.

Great keyboard with one major shortcomming
I really enjoy this keyboard. The k65 plus wireless is well built, looks and performs great, and is a decent price for a name brand keyboard. The reason why I only gave the keyboard 4 out of 5 stars is because its a Corsair keyboard that is not fully compatible with iCUE.When the keyboard is in wireless mode, the lighting cannot be fully customizable. You can only select the basic lighting presets when in wireless mode. This is annoying because if you have other corsair components and have a custom color scheme, this keyboard cannot be synced unless it is in wired mode. This overall would not be a big deal if it was a random keyboard, but because it is a Corsair keyboard, and a big selling point of Corsair peripherals is iCUE, it kind of defeats the purpose.I still really like this keyboard overall. It is responsive in wireless mode, it is built well, and has good weight to it. I have swapped all the switches and keycaps and it was easy to do. If Corsair creates a follow up to this keyboard and includes wireless full iCUE support then they would have a for sure five star keyboard.

Looks nice (could’ve been better). Feels great. Sounds greater. There is a personal perspective on everything, of course. As a starting point into a custom keyboard world – I think it does its job great. Having in mind you do not pay for it 160 :).

Es todo marketing, es plasticoso y tiene un tacto poco agradable. Los switches son muy mediocres comparados con otros incluso más baratos

I wanted to love this keyboard. The tactile feedback is incredible, the chassis feels rugged and the lighting effects are bright, smooth and beautiful. So when one star? Corsairs own update bricks the wireless receiver. Google the issue- there are massive Reddit threads about and the only fix is to contact Corsair for a new dongle. It wouldn’t be an issue but they are still pushing the same broken update from 6 months ago.Anyway, it happened to me and it’ll likely happen to you – fine if you want a wired keyboard, but I didn’t. Was very sad to see this returned because it ticked every box… until it didn’t.

Bought this for my brother and he loves it. I also tested it and like the way it sound, feels and looks. The Icue software is decent enough. Would buy this again.
