Adorable and Functional — Does More Than Meets the Eye
REVIEW OF Pomodoro Timer Cube for Productivity — 5/25/10/50 Minutes Preset, Digital Gravity Sensor Desk Visual Timer for ADHD, Silent Mode, Ideal for Office, Study, Kitchen & Kids Brand: WAFHXAdorable and functional! READ the instructions this does more that meets the eye.I DARE you not to start playing with it immediately! Out of the box it came charged and ready to use! It’s SUPER sensitive, starts the count down immediately as soon as you flip it – no additional button pushes required. I LOVE not needing batteries, (USB C rechargeable) and you can use it while its plugged in and charging.I have been using a voice assistant as my timer, for kitchen and office tasks but having to repeatedly ask (yell) “how much time is left on the timer?!” got old. This visual display is super portable, fits in the palm of your hand, is bright, clear, shows you exactly how many minutes and seconds to go- and the timer pre-sets are big clear numbers I can see even without my glasses for both the countdown and the timer settings. If you’re sight impaired you’ll appreciate that too!I use this primarily on my desk for work- to keep zoom calls on track- I like the silent mode for that so the attendees don’t hear the long loud timer or worse the voice assistant. I also like the 25 and 50 minute presets- that gives me a 5 minute and 10 minute warnings respectively to wrap things up without being abrupt. I can one handily flip the timer to silently start, stop and pause the time without breaking eye contact or flow. When I do use it in the kitchen, its great that the timer is loud and long! Like really long. You’re not going to miss it.There are four groups of presets: 5 and 10 minutes are pretty standard- but 25 and 50 are unusual. However, I’ve found especially in the kitchen that extra 5-10 minutes heads up to 30 or 60 minutes gives me time to come from another room, get oven mitts on and get things out on time vs after time so I’ve come to appreciate it. And when I need to be out the door in 30 minutes? I like the 25 minute preset it gives me a “5 minute “heads up”. And I’ve already mentioned the meeting benefits. With some additional button pushes you can change / customize the countdown presets to what ever you want so says the instruction manual, (I haven’t tired it yet) including counting UP and silent mode so it could be used just as a visual.I need to fiddle with it a bit more – but it seems it really is best when used with its presets- which are uber intuitive- BUT if you want to set it to say a non preset time- its not intuitive- at least to me how to do that- and its so sensitive it’s hard to get right without starting a timer count down, so for that reason I don’t think it will completely replace my kitchen timer when i need to set a time for an hour or more. But for staying on task, managing meetings, improving productivity, hair coloring, teeth brushing for kids (or adults), in the classroom, or just getting yourself out the door on time — it’s a good, functional find. I can also see it being a real help for therapists to keep sessions on track and for parents working with kids to learn time management.I’m sure I will find so many uses for this little guy in and out of the office and kitchen. At $17, it feels pricy, but for something I’ll use multiple times daily, and hopefully for years, it seems worth it.

An effective pomodoro timer!
This timer is really easy to use. Just turn it on then turn the box to the side with the number of minutes facing up and the timer starts. I timed it against my iphone’s timer and the timer was accurate. I tend to procrastinate and I am hoping that the timer will help me “break” my concentration and remind me to stop and do what I need to be doing.Pros:- much easier and faster to set than an iphone timer- has many features – it can become a count up timer and it can be customized to your own time framesCould use improvement:- you really need to keep the instructions if you want to use any of the advanced features (such as muting) because many features are not intuitive to use with the 4 back buttons. But if you just want to use the default timers, you can throw away the instructions- it doesn’t seem to show how much power is remaining. There is a warning signal that will display if it’s low on power.Overall, it’s a nice timer that I think I’ll get lots of use out of, particularly with the instructions for the additional functionality.

I use it daily, and I’d miss it if it stopped working.
Intuitive UX and super simple if you just need preset timers. Pretty much idiot-proof.Not a fan of the inability to adjust the alarm volume.I hope the next version has a vibration mode for silent alarming.

Simple Effective Portable Timer With a Clear Visual Countdown
This is a great little timer, perfect for pomodoro. Faster, easier, and most importantly less distracting than fussing with a timer on a phone. The numbers are big and easy to read, but what I really appreciate is the visual representation of the time left as a fraction of a circle around the numbers. It’s plenty loud when the countdown ends as well. Don’t be working on a task too far away when it finishes, because it keeps beeping until you stop it, and if you’re anything like me you’ll be diving to make it quit. This is a timer that makes staying focused easier without adding distractions.

Convenient and Interactive Pomodoro Timer for Focused Work
I usually use the Pomodoro app on my phone to study or focused work, but this timer cube makes managing my focus sessions so much more convenient and interactive. I like how simple it is to use: just flip the cube to start the timer instantly, and flipping it back pauses or resets without any hassle. This hands-on approach really helps me stay engaged without needing to unlock or look at my phone. The gentle alert tone is just right; it is loud enough to notice without being distracting. The option to mute the sound and rely on the flashing screen is perfect for quiet environments like classrooms or libraries. I appreciate the large backlit screen and progress bar, which make it easy to see how much time is left from across the room. The USB-C charging is a great upgrade from timers that need battery replacements, and the auto sleep feature saves power without me having to think about it. Its compact size fits nicely on my desk and looks modern without being obtrusive. For the price, I find this timer to be a great value. It combines style, ease of use, and practical features that help improve productivity and focus. I recommend it to anyone who wants a simple, effective way to keep track of their work and break times without distractions.
