Customers say
Customers find the pill dispenser works well and appreciate its secure locking mechanism and ability to hold lots of small pills, particularly noting it’s perfect for 2-3 smaller pills and a multivitamin. Moreover, they like its travel functionality, being easy to carry in a purse. However, the size receives mixed feedback, with some finding it nice while others say it barely fits one pill. Additionally, durability and ease of opening are also mixed aspects – while some find it durable and easy to open, others report issues with lids breaking off and needing two hands to open it.

The best locking pill boxes! I have two
I ordered the small and sometime later ordered the 2xl. The small was..well..small. I tried to stuff 8 pills in there, two being very large ones, and it worked, but not well. So then I tried to cut down to 7 pills and keep one out. It didn’t make sense to do this when I could just purchase a larger one since they’re so cheap. The 2xl is a big boy! I didn’t feel like the reviews had enough comparison photos regarding size, so I hope this helps. Now, my 7 (soon to be 8) pills are swimming in the container. Some people may not like this, but I do. I like to be able to see all my pills in one shot and not feel like they are being compromised with something too small. The small one can easily fit into a clutch, but the 2xl would need a medium sized ourself brief case in order to fit. It’s taller than a tissue box, as you can see from the photo, but it’s perfect. For dexterity purposes, the small box’s locking mechanism spring is easier to push than the 2xl. It takes more effort to open the 2xl. Yes, you have to really be able to have good use of your joints to open/close/maneuver around the small box. I love that the 2xl has so much room you don’t have to worry about any pills getting stuck or jammed. Is it child proof? Ohhh yes! My toddler is currently sitting here trying to open them and he can’t. This kid can open pretty much anything, but this one is standing the test. It’s exactly why I chose this locking pill box and I’m glad it works. These boxes are well worth the investment. I highly recommend them!

The only place to find these
These pill boxes are great for traveling because they lock closed. I had purchased a couple of these boxes at a drugstore but have not seen them in any stores for many years. So, I was delighted when I found them on Amazon. I definitely recommend these pillboxes for keeping your pills secure.

Best traveling pillbox for me – miles and years proven.
This pillbox has traveled the world with me for over 10 years, faithfully keeping my meds on schedule and me in balance. I first found it under the Craft Mates name at JoAnn. Now that the locking compartments are beginning to falter after thousands of cycles, it’s time for a replacement. I finally found it and am so glad I did.Note that the dimensions shown are wrong – it is about 7/8″ or 23 mm thick, not the 3/8″ shown. At nominally 6″ x 1-3/8″ x 7/8″, it’s small enough to keep in my purse, with me everywhere I go.If you need more or less pills than me, this may not be right for you. If you are always home, why buy the locking variety? But again, for me, this is the perfect lockable traveling pillbox.

Practical and Useful
It’s a little small for the price. It is has a childproof lock, which I really appreciate. The only thing about the childproof lock is that it becomes a little hard to open each pill window at once. I need to do this at the end of every week to refill the container. I find that once I push the white lock, which is located on the left side of the container, I must pry each window open, one-by-one. This can be trick to figure out in the beginning, but if you’ve got nifty hands and patience, it can all work out.Another thing that bothers me is that this is week three of having the container, and I noticed that some of the lettering is peeling off already, even though I store it in decent conditions/touch it once a day. The lettering seems to be made from a cheap paint. This is fine if you’re alright with remembering the days yourself, or do not care much about aesthetics of pill containers. The bottom of the case is a bit slippery, I do find that it slips off my shelves and around on flat surfaces a lot. I would suggest adding some rubber to the bottom if you want it to stay in place.Otherwise, very useful and necessary product!

“2-Pack”? Is it me or everyone else?
I needed two of them, one for morning and one evening. This product is described as “2-Pack” which is just right, except I received only one. The product itself is okay. But I wouldn’t buy it if I knew it’s for one, that’s highway robbery!

Umm… it did say small…
Ehh not so much a fan of this little guy. It did say small. I didn’t realize how small. There is a pic comparison with my evening pill organizer. My evening one is amazing but a bit larger than I wanted to leave on the counter. I can never remember if I took my pills or not, so I wanted one for the counter by the coffee pot as opposed to the bottle. Gotta get those antidepressants down first thing in the morning, right? This is tiny but holds the two pills I need it to. I don’t like the locking mechanism much. It’s stuff and with the container being so small it was hard to maneuver. In my evening organizer you press a button on each day and it automatically pops open. This one has it on the side and then you have to click open the day. Doesn’t sound too hard, but at 33 I am not used to have dexterity problems with things. I would warn against if you do have dexterity (or patience) issues.I would return and pay the $2-3 more for another one of my even organizers, but monetarily that doesn’t make sense. I would definitely opt for this one instead. The few dollars is worth it:AUVON iMedassist Weekly Pill Organizer Arthritis Friendly, BPA Free Travel 7 Day Pill Box Case with Spring Open Design and Large Compartment to Hold Vitamins, Cod Liver Oil, Supplements and Medication https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07794YMY7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_R1d1Db56K4YB2Also, you can’t choose a color. I despise green. Minor but I wish I’d gotten purple haha

Here I show the large and small locking pill cases with a Metformin pill in Sunday slot, followed by an iron pill, a calcium pill, a mini-fish oil, and a standard vitamin D pill.Pros:•Two Metformin can fit in each cubicle of the small size and it still closes easily.•Six Metformin can fit in each large sized cubile•16 Metformin can fit into the 2XL cubile•They have a swooped front edge, so getting pills out is easier.•locking mechanism works perfectly•Stays closed when dropped from counter to floor•prevents my dog from scrambling for meds if I drop it•keep baby out of meds•clear lettering•Braille•small size fits easily in purseCons:•When you put large pills in the small container the swooped edge is less effective than in the larger container.•this would not be good for someone who struggles with dexterity issues, as it requires some “childproof” dexterity. This is not an issue for us.•2XL case is very large. Would love to see an AM and PM locking case in a smaller size.

Pratico, compatto e perfettamente tascabile. Consigliato!

Since having brought this there are no missed days of taking pills, great idea. Well made lockable so safe. Yes just the job.

I’ve used this for a month or two now, and traveled with it too. It works pretty well, though the opening mechanism can be a bit fiddly so not ideal for someone with motor coordination issues. Sometimes the tablets tend to jump out if the opening mechanism sticks. Other than that, it’s all good.

First, let me say how incredibly well made this pill sorter is! The lock feature is amazing, and I never have to worry about it popping open in my bag when I travel. I imagine it would also keep smaller children and pets from getting into the compartments too. That being said, the lock does require a significant amount of pressure to pop open (I have to use both hands to do so) and it doesn’t seem like it’s an arthritis friendly lock.If you are looking for something to help you keep track of one or two daily pills, it’ll be perfect for you! Just be aware if you have larger capsules as a part of your daily meds, this pill sorter might be a little too small to fit those larger pills. For reference, in my photo I have a small Vitamin D3 tablet, a 250mg Cranberry supplement capsule, and an Advil extra strength gel capsule in three of the compartments.
