This med and vitamin timer is a godsend for anyone who suffers from dementia (or just a bad memory for taking pills on schedule). It is small enough to fit in a pocket or purse–convenient for travel purposes. As many as six separate alarms can be set over a 24-hour period, and they will repeat every day at the same times. Programmed alarms will beep for about 15 seconds, and if not cancelled, will repeat once more after 5 minutes. The alarm is turned off with a simple STOP button. Hearing loss is a concern.
As a professional caregiver, I bought this for a client to ensure they were able to take medications when no one was around to offer reminders. However, the alarm sound is not loud enough due to client’s mild hearing loss. I would recommend this product only if hearing is not an issue.
