It’s a great upgrade for me to have the 4 channels compared to the device I already had which only has two. I actually ordered two of this item so the family member could use one as well. We love it.

I hadn’t even considered that I could afford a TENS unit when I was being treated by a skilled chiropractor/osteopath back in the mid-nineties. I was wrong.After a recent illness, I asked my physical therapist about TENS/EMS therapy. He said sure, ann I could find what I wanted for $20-30 bucks! He said I should just find one that had the best features for me, and be sure to check out reviews online. The best answer for me was to get this one.I should say I’m not selling these or getting some sort of payback for reviewing it. I’m just so pleased that this does the job with what I needed at the right prince.This thing has a LOT of different settings that were confusing to me. The manual and chart that came with it got me most of the way there, but goofing around with it, I found the right settings.It’s got just the right amount of punch for what I need, and unlike the clinical unit, its upper levels don’t make me feel like I was being tasered :)The features that stand out are:1. It’s rechargeable with standard USB-C chargers. It has good battery life2. The thing has four channels. Most of the others at this price only offer two. That means, theoretically, that I could use four sets of pads simultaneously.3. You can program it to shut off completely when it’s done.4. The pads themselves are nice and sticky. These won’t fall off.5. Its not wireless. I prefer a hard-wired connection.6. It’s fairly compact and lightweight.Durability: I DEFINITELY wouldn’t go throwing this around or reefing on the cords…the thing isn’t as robust as say, a modern smartphone. It’s made of plastic, because what else would it be made of. I do think it’s tough enough to bring with me if I needed.You do need to keep your hands and fingers away from the sticky pads when it’s turned on. Yee-owch!I’d buy this again and recommend it to friends.
