Easily adjusted. Works Well.
Comfortable for a handicap person to wear. Adjusts easily. The swing-up protector over the quick release buckle prevents accidental openings. Buckle is made out of plastic, but it appears that it will last. Overall, we’re very happy with this purchase.

Good quality product.
This gait belt was exactly what I wanted. I liked the way it buckled. It was sized as stated and perfect for my client.

Very sturdy and good belt.
A physical therapist recommended that I purpose this type of product. My hubby at times is very unsteady on his feet and falls quite often. In May I had to him to the emergency room. But I was not able to get him down the front stairs. My brother fastened this belt on him and easliy walked him down the steps and got him into our van.

This belt gives me a boost!
My husband uses this belt to help lift me on and off my wheelchair. I am 5′ 8″ and weigh about 180, and have felt very secure when he lifts me. He does lift me by pulling up on the front of the belt, so I appreciate not having any grips in the back that tend to be uncomfortable when belt is left on . The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because it stained easily and did not come clean when washed. I would recommend this belt to others.

Highly Recommend
My husband only needed this for about two months while recovering from an illness. It was money well spent, as it is easy to adjust to fit and easy to remove.

This belt
This is my favorite style belt to use because of the buckle release. It tightens just as well as standard belts, and it stays tight.

Excellent product in the right size!
Excellent product and the right size also. Most of the gait belts are 60 inches which have to be almost doubled around my wife. From this company I could order the size that best fits her which is a 36 inch gait belt. And love the quick release buckle with safety as it is so much easier to snap on and off than the traditional gait belt with metal buckle. I highly recommend this gait belt that is being used while my wife recovers from partial hip replacement surgery. In fact many days I just leave it on and she wears it like a regular belt!

Decent belt, but buckle snapped off a little easily
I purchased this for some physical therapy. In particular I needed it to distract my hip. My PT used one of these (though perhaps a different brand) during our sessions. I was possibly pressing to hard, but the belt buckle snapped off relatively easily on one of my first several uses. Since then I have tied a loop in it to do various stretches, and started using a heavy duty resistance band for the distraction, which is less effective, but seems to work ok. Had I to purchase this again, I would probably buy one with a metal clip instead. The length is nice on this one, and it always felt long enough.
