Not just for seniors
I got this set of 2 gait belts for the future. This is the kind of thing you don’t need until you need it. But inevitably when you need it, you don’t have it. And that’s why I got them. I’m such a planner.Several years ago I broke my ankle and while in rehab (it was a BAD break) they used a gait belt to keep me steady while using a walker to get to the bathroom and back. It was a big comfort because I knew I wouldn’t fall. Once you’ve broken your leg, foot, or ankle, you know the fear I’m talking about. I told myself as I was mending that when I got better I would get a gait belt and have it handy for any unexpected situations. And so I have. I feel much better having it in the closet whenever I need it.These are really good quality gait belts. Your First Aid kit needs one. You’ll thank me later.
