Customers say

Customers find the transfer board works better than plastic alternatives and is great for moving between bed and chair. The board receives positive feedback for its quality, ease of use, and functionality, with one customer noting it works well in small spaces. The sturdiness and smoothness receive mixed reviews – while some find it very sturdy and smooth, others report it cracking within a week and being not slick enough. The edge quality is problematic with customers reporting splinters along the edges, and the length receives mixed feedback with some finding it perfect while others wish it were wider.

    High-quality
I ordered the slide board for my sister. It looks to be very high-quality and it works exactly as intended. I will say if you get the vinyl slides sheet, it makes it even easier to use getting someone into a car.

Works great, light weight and sturdy
Works exactly as expected. I like the handle in one end version, like this one. The wood is a little soft, so it does mar easily, but looks are not the main thing with this product. It’s light weight so it’s easier to carry around and works as it’s designed to work. I like the tapered ends. Makes it easier to slide on and off. And it’s very smooth, so if you don’t get your skirt caught under the end, which I do sometimes, it won’t hurt your clothes. That’s not a design flaw. That’s a user error. I’d recommend it to others.

Good board at a good price.
Transfer board is light and works well, I like the handle. The price was very reasonable. The only negative is that this isn’t a hard wood board so it will get scratched and dinged up on metal wheelchairs pretty easily, but doesn’t affect function. I wouldn’t expect an oak board at this price and a harder wood would be much heavier.

    Transfer assist board.
The board helps in transferring from a wheelchair to a standard chair. It functions as described although it takes some practice to use it correctly. Recommend that a caregiver assist you during the learning process.

    It’s a good sturdy board
I bought this because my sister suddenly became wheel chair bound. It’s a good sturdy board. I do have two complaints1) it was not quite long enough.2) the wood was soft and nicked easily one the wheelchair as her weight went over it.Otherwise it is a nice product and a real back saver.

    Not really worth the money
I did not find it very useful. Plus it came cracked. I was given a complete refund but I did not bother ordering another one.

    Great idea.
This was recommended to me by a nurse for my mother who has a broken ankle. To me, it looks like a good paddle to encourage her to do leg strengthening exercises. I am concerned that the board will make it to easy to transfer between chairs and little muscle gain will be encouraged. But this is certainly not true for many people, so I will give it 5 stars.

For a big guy it gets the job done.
I bought this for my brother to use when transferring to or from a wheelchair. At his 300 lbs. weight I was a little concerned but this works well for him.

Transfer board is lightweight and a thick solid piece of wood. Better than other transfer boards I’ve used. Love it.
