Can’t beat them for the price. Very nice all around.
I honestly have no complaints. with these. I was looking for a $100 quality pair of headphones for about half that price and I found it with these. The materials feel nice (not cheap) and they fit comfortably on my head, even for longer periods.I find the controls to be intuitive and easy to use.Sound quality is great all around and the bass response is nice and clean. They cover my entire ear with no problem and the noise cancelling works great. Connecting to devices is simple.I haven’t used them for more than a few hours continuously but the battery life is certainly there. I would take these on a flight and not even think about it.

    Really Solid Headphones
For starters, I want to say I truly enjoy these headphones and for many reasons. One of the main ones is how your music sounds while listening. Lets break down everything quickly:Bluetooth (10/10): Very easy to pair the directions are simple and can connect to two devices at once. They’ll connect fast when you turn them on. If you’re connected to two devices and leave to go out and it disconnects from one device (it will alert you). If you return within five minutes it will reconnect to that device.App (7/10): Very simple and easy to use. They only have five EQ presets and one you can customize to your liking. I did email them to ask if they would add more and they said possibly in the future. If you’re looking for a lot of preset EQs go with a pair of Soundcore headphones (they have 20 EQs in their app).Functionality (9/10): You can swipe left and right for song change, up and down for volume and you can customize the taps to pause and play and change ANC if you don’t want to use the button on the right earcup. You do everything on the right earcup which is convenient and easy to utilize.Just a heads up, using these in the gym if you lift your arm up and brush against the earcup, it might change the song or pause it but it’s nothing crazy.Sound (8/10): These headphones don’t get extremely loud. I repeat these headphones do not get extremely loud so if that’s what you’re looking for, these are not it (Sony XM5 for those who want to spend, Skullcandy Crushers for those who are on a bit of a budget). These headphones sound great, they do get loud when listening to ambient, electronic, rock genres. The bass isn’t too crazy with the preset in the app and it sounds really solid (not Bose aocusticslly and I’ve had those headphones) but they sound really nice. Especially punchy songs or songs with bass.ANC (7/10): They’re not Bose and Sony (I own both of these) but I will say I live on a busy street in Midtown of a west coast city where there are cars going in both directions and a train that goes in both directions and it drowns out 90% of it standing on my balcony. You do feel a difference in the ANC when you change it. In Aware mode they have an air noise to it if it’s the last setting you had when you turn on the headphones before turning on your music. I haven’t used these on an airplane yet but I will in the spring. These sound good watching videos, movies and TV shows as I’ve done that on my iPad a few times and it’s solid.Comfort (8/10): If you have bigger ears (like me), you earlobes will be on the under part of the ear cushion (it doesn’t hurt or make it uncomfortable). The ear cushions are a mesh material and it feels different but not in a bad way. I’ve worn these for hours at a time and they’re incredibly comfortable.Overall for the price point and what you get (case, intuitive buttons and swipe on the right earcup, app) you can’t go wrong for this price point. Vokalen is a Canadian company stepping into the headphones market and they made a great pair of cans. They have a bright future in this space. 8/10.

nice, but some iffy features to consider
These would make a good gift as they are packaged inside a nice box and come with a case, all others I ordered came in just a thin box. Front of box says designed in Canada but they are made in China- nothing new. These are the heaviest of several I’ve ordered at 9.8oz/278g, my first clue these would likely not work for me. The sound was decent, tested listening to my usual Dark Techno/Cyberpunk/EBM/Industrial. The ANC did not seem to be any different than other settings but it did block out noise well, could hear some noises directly around me but voices/music playing in next room not heard- I did not adjust anything using app as these things may be able to be adjusted there. These stood out as the only mesh padded over-ear headphones I’ve come across which was a plus on heat/comfort but a con for things like hair and lint can stick. I’d say the biggest consideration in ordering these is the touch features were interesting but definitely has it’s pros and cons- if you typically adjust placing hands over it will take away the volume. Again I know it’s possible to change some of these settings, but unfortunately as someone with extreme sensitivities to pressure after only 1 hour my more sensitive ear was in dire pain probably from squeezing my head and weight. I have a small child-size head so in theory headphones I would think be less tight than on a bigger head but that has not been the case- I typically can not tolerate headbands (migraine/headache prone,) and I can not wear any ear buds because they set off inner ear pain (from many years of sleeping with earplugs,) and these did as well just from pressure around the ear. I’m not saying these are bad in any way as they are probably fine for normal people, but if you have sensitivity issues these are likely not a good fit. I am about to give up- I really really wanted this type of headphone to help block out the overwhelm of my noisy environment, but the old walkman style is about all I can handle sadly.

The best! The sound is compatible with my high end JBL headphones. Unfortunately my JBL headphones body was cracked due to poor material quality in spite of the decent sound quality so I went searching for a budget substitute pair of headphones and I found this one! Quality is good made and sound. It is super light and comfortable! I wish they keep it the same way for those who want to get new ones

The Vokalen Hyper Pro headphones are a great deal! The case feels sturdy and well-made, and the overall build quality is solid. The app is super easy to use, and I love how the EQ lets me fine-tune the sound. The customizable gestures are a nice touch too. Noise canceling is decent—when I’m walking outside, I don’t hear much of the busy streets or cars, which is great for staying in the zone. My favorite feature by far is awareness mode—it works really well when I need to stay alert without taking the headphones off. The mic is also surprisingly good, making calls clear and easy. Of course, the Sony XM5 is the better headphone overall, but for the price, these actually hold up really well and come packed with useful features. One thing I’d love to see in the future is wear detection, so the music pauses when I take them off, and changeable ear pads to make them last even longer. Overall, I’m really happy with them and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for solid headphones without breaking the bank!

These are not noise cancelling but certainly reducing. The volume at max is not “loud” but sufficient (especially for listening to books – my main use for these when flying) so they are adequate (worth keeping for my purposes).

Probably the best Ive found at this price point and twice higher. Ive been on a long search and own many different brands but Ive not owned Bose so I cant compare there. They are somewhat heavy, very well made and comfortable. Also they clamp well to direct the music in without too much pressure. I wear them for at least 12-16 hours a day non stop. They are on their own without the app a little bottom heavy with bass at times IMO and I don’t want to constantly change the EQ on my phone for different headphones. The EQ App is on the Apple App Store under Vokalen sound. I appreciate that it is available at the App Store as I am more comfortable using an app approved by Apple. They really work well for touch control which is also customizable via the app. It can take a little getting used to but when you do they are smooth to operate. You’ll also be getting better battery life due to the fact they are 32 ohms impedance which consumes less power to drive the sound wave. They tick a lot of my “must have” boxes. I however own these more for the noise cancellation tho. I rarely listen to music. I am high functioning Autistic and most interior and exterior noise freaks me out making these a life saver since I have hyper hearing that noise actually hurts. I seriously find these are the best in the NC category plus the noise cancellation is also customizable via the app. I can also say they work well with passive sound isolation meaning that they are not turned on but still cut out ambient noise to an acceptable degree in certain settings like at night from the furnace and refrigerator. I really don’t think you’ll find anything that matches these. I highly recommend them.
