A Must-Have Kitchen Companion
I absolutely love this kitchen timer! As someone who is constantly juggling multiple pots and pans, I needed a timer that was reliable, easy to set, and loud enough to hear over a sizzling stovetop—and this one delivers on all fronts. The strong magnet on the back keeps it firmly attached to my refrigerator, so it’s always visible and never cluttering my counter space.

Did not work
Did not work straight out of the box. It would move until it hit 5 minutes then stop. Not sure on accuracy as I didn’t test it since it didn’t work. Save your money get a different brand. It didn’t seem to be horribly made and would have been decent had it worked.

Best feature is the red showing the time available.
It’s smaller than I wanted but I was still surprised to see how very small it is compared to what other timers are size wise. The stand is not very effective because it tips over. The visual aspect of the timer is the best feature. I use it when teaching children about time. It helps me as well. It puts a more “concrete” perspective, “as the time ticks away the red goes away”. It could be a louder ring and a longer ring. It’s very simple to operate. I just wish it was a bit larger. It is, of course, made of plastic.

cute timer
I got this for our school classroom. We have special needs students that need timers, and this was perfect for that! It is well made and good quality. I love the design of it, so retro. This was great for our classroom! Great value for the cost! Would Recommend. Easy to use!

Mechanical wound timers for the win
This takes me back to grade school! It’s literally an old school spring wound timer, so you twist it all the way up past the 55 to wind it and then set the timer for however many minutes you need. The red highlights nicely and makes it easy to see at a glance how much time remains. The bell rings and it will still keep ticking down u til it’s fully unwound. I have had battery powered timers crap out on me in the middle of baking and it’s ENRAGING. With this, no worries. Just remember when you are adding a few minutes you need to re-tweet to wind it up again. As Gen X this warms the cockles of my analog-to-digital heart. Sometimes simple is best.

It’s cheaply made and won’t last long.
If you use a timer a lot, and I do, then pass on this one. The magnet isn’t very strong, btw. The timer doesn’t go all the way to one hour but stops at 55 minutes. The ring is good and loud but not long. This one I got is slow by a few minutes if set past 30 minutes.

Okay as an approximate timer
Sometimes I want to quickly set a timer without having to push buttons or speak to an assistant. This timer sort of does the trick, but only if an exact time is not needed. You probably don’t want to use this for anything less than 5 minutes. I tested it at 2, 5, and 15 minutes. At 2 minutes, the bell rang at 1:36 and 1:22. At 5 and 15 minutes, it rang 20 seconds early for each. For the longer times, that difference is probably acceptable for most tasks. Both the ticking and the bell are loud. In a noisy kitchen, that should be okay. The instructions say to turn past 55 before setting. I tried both that and turning only past 5. Both worked just as well.
