LARGE-Fitting Adjustable Cuff
The cuff part of this device fits like a LARGE for an average-to-large man. If one has an upper arm with a circumference that’s at the lower end of the fit range, the cuff part adjusts by wrapping around, creating a lot of bulk. It’s not just the length of the cuff that goes around the arm that’s large, it’s also the width, which precludes it from fitting properly above the elbow for someone with shorter arms. The device appears well-made and is easy to use. The numbers on the display are large and easy-to-read. The device can be used with or without the app, and one can delay sending data to the app, instead of having to do it real-time.The included batteries only lasted long enough to set the date and time, and pair it with my cell phone and app. I had to replace the batteries to take a BP measurement.

Easy to use
Came packed easily to open. Directions were clear on how to set it up, and connect it to my bluetooth device.I would have given it 5 stars, but it did not come with a storage bag. This would be helpful for those who travel, or only use it once in a while.

I’ve purchased so many but have finally found the best!
As the headline says, I have purchased so many of these “at home” blood pressure meters only to be disappointed with the results or find that it takes so long to get a reading or that it is not reading accurate that it was easy to give up. Thankfully iProven’s Bluetooth model was on sale and I, once again, decided to try my (up to now) bad luck and see if it was what was being advertised. In short, it was, but it was more than that, it was everything I was wanting.First the negative, what I don’t like, which isn’t much, but if there is a detraction it would be that at some angles the display isn’t the best, but those are very few angles that you can view from. Most of the positions you can put it in makes it perfectly readable and bright, however I must admit that there are a very few where you are more looking across the display than at it where it’s not as bright, otherwise I don’t have any complaint. As for the positives, there are plenty and make it well worth what you will pay with or without it being on sale. First it is easy to use, has two memories so that you can store, and take, readings for two separate people that you can define in setup. Then there is a third person/position that is simply listed was “Guest” whereby say someone comes over your house and wants their blood pressure taken, you can take it without it effecting your two registered and stored people. Another feature I really LOVE with the iProven meter is the way it takes the blood pressure and reads it out. This meter counts up and then displays the reading without you having to wait for it to count back down. As the pressure cup inflates the reading is displayed in front of you then all at once it flashes the final reading without you having to wait for the cup to deflate and the reading, if you set the app up and link it, reads out and records the value very fast, within seconds. If you are like me, you hate those meters that have the cup inflate only to make you wait an excessively long time as it deflates, counting down, as you set and breath faster all the while your arm is aching from that tight cuff around it.Yet another thing I like about it is (and this I admit is subjective depending on whom the person is that is operating it) it is so intuitive that I haven’t yet picked up the manual and read how to operate it. It just seemed to work so simple. Yes, I recommend you read the manual and there are features you need the manual for in order to program and set up, but with only one person using it I didn’t have to go set up many things before I got my first reading. The color bar also displays a position along the right side of the display to indicate where your blood pressure reading falls within the recommended ranges of low to high, with low being Green in color and high being red. The inflation to time the blood pressure reading is displayed is also quick compared to many of the meters that I have tried, over the years. Lastly and most important, I have three other meters, one of which is an expensive Omron, and the iProven meter is very accurate and agrees with the other readings, so I am confident that I can say it is accurate however I can’t wait till my next doctors visit (don’t say that too often) to compare the iProven with their medically certified meter in the office. So I’ve finally found a meter that doesn’t buckle my knees when I see the price (aka, it’s affordable) and it does most everything I want and need meaning it gives me a quick, accurate, reading and stores/records it on my cell phone in case I want to export it or print it out and show my physician my blood pressure history. I also find I’m taking my pressure more frequently now that it takes it so easy and fast and then records it on the phone app for future reference. Not mentioned in my above praise about the meter, but well worth telling is that it comes with a very nice case to hold the meter and cuff as well as comes with batteries and a cord to power it by if you choose not to use the batteries that are included. Another nice feature that many other meters don’t provide is that there are two zippers pulls to open the case. Many meters don’t come with a case, but many that do have only one zipper. This isn’t that big a deal, but having two just makes it easier to open and close it.All in all, this was the meter that I’ve been looking for all these years, one that provides me what I’ve been looking for and yet at an affordable price. Most of all was my desire to find a meter that provided the blood pressure reading after counting up (inflating) and did not have you wait for the cuff to count down and deflate before providing that reading to you.

Consistent Readings, Syncs with Samsung Health
I had been using a wrist-style blood pressure measuring system for multiple years that could give wildly inaccurate readings and was sensitive to position. When I bought this device, I began getting consistent readings as I always check my BP at the same time each day. While I was initially disappointed that it didn’t interface directly with my Samsung Health app, it wasn’t difficult to add the Health Connect app, which creates that linkage. So, now all my BP readings are automatically added. This device is reliable, including the Bluetooth, it’s simple to use, and surprisingly, even after several months of daily use, the original generic batteries are still going strong. I’m very happy with this device and glad I decided to upgrade.
