Customers say

Customers find these clip-on glasses well-built and appreciate their clip-on design. However, the functionality and clarity receive mixed reviews – while some say they work well, others report they’re not functional, and while some find the clarity acceptable, others report blurred vision. Moreover, the glasses are heavy and too large, causing them to slide down the nose. Additionally, durability is a concern as some report the clips breaking off after a month of use.

CWL, tested for work related need.
The glasses as a whole are okay, but they have issues with the lenses falling out of the frames. Even with that issue, I have purchased a couple more. This time I will be gluing the lenses into the frames because I use them for work and have to continuously flip them up and down.Pros:- The flip mechanism is very nice. It is smooth and holds them steady. It didn’t seem to loosen up with use.- The frame is not too heavy.- The lenses are clear and uniform.Cons:- The frame does not hold the lenses securely enough. They kept falling out and had to be reinserted.- The feet on the clips move around on my prescription glasses and I have to adjust them regularly.

They work good, too heavy for me
Good quality. I am used to high incidence plastic lenses. Not for me.

    This SO did not work!
For one, they did not fit on my glasses easily. It takes smudging up your lenses to get them on. Then I look ridiculous when wearing them because the frames are very different from mine, and to top it off, I cannot see out of them. A total failure for me! I went to an eye doctor and ordered prescription reading glasses instead. They have not arrived yet, so we’ll see if that works better.

    Makes life easier!
I just go to the dollar tree store and choose a pair of flattering reading glasses that enable me to see toward the back of the store. This pair I will buy. Then I start trying on lesser power glasses over the first ones, and find a pair that allows me to read print through both pair. This second pair I do not buy, but I note the strength. Then I order a pair of these clip on-flip up glasses in that strength. It works great. I flip the second pair up out of the way for just walking around or watching TV, and even driving. I flip it down to read or use my tablet. I’m elderly and disabled, and it may look odd, but it means so much to me that I bought a second pair to keep in my purse in case I lose or break mine. I cannot use bifocals because of vertigo, and I did not want to constantly switch glasses.

Hard to clip on and off without seriously smudging your primary pair
The magnification seems about right. They are useable. But clipping them off always involves getting my hands all over the lenses of my glasses. Then, because I use these when I am on the go, I have to find some way to clean my glasses. I might as well just stay with carrying prescription reading glasses with me, awkward as that is.

    They Do the Trick
Yes, I feel like a 1970s game show host when I wear these, and the device reminds me of the Opti-Grab that Navin Johnson invented, but they do the trick and are great for work. Until my optometrist gets her act together and can get me the right prescription, this is what I will use.

Normally I need two pairs of glasses – one for distance viewing (e.g. driving, watching TV) and one for reading or using my computer and phone. Of course, it is difficult to carry a second pair of glasses, and this is where the clip-ons come into their own. When I need to read something, I just flip down the clip-ons and I am in business – no mad searching around for my reading glasses! I chose 1.5 diopter lenses to provide a match for my prescribed reading glasses. I especially like the TERAISE clip-ons because they have wire frames and are much more rugged than my previous pair.

Recomendable.
