    Zulay Comfort Grip Garlic Press
This is the second garlic press I have purchased (March) and it is perfect. I especially appreciate that it is very easy on the hands, very light, and holds at least 6 small / 4 large pegs of garlic at one time. I use this item daily; thus, it undergoes frequent washing. To date, I have observed no indications of rust. In my view, one of the best garlic presses because of ease of use.

Works well, can utilize the entire clove. No waste
I ordered the bronze garlic press, and it is absolutely beautiful! I have tried it only a couple of times so far, but I like it.I used to own the OXO brand earlier, can’t remember why I don’t have it anymore. That one is definitely good too, but I like this one better. For one, I can squeeze the garlic through with far less pressure, so it’s easier on my hands. I can’t imagine how hard it would have been if I had had actual arthritis, ouch! The OXO one has a larger cup and can hold two or three cloves, it also let’s you twist it backward to push out the leftovers. But I did not like how it left the outer portions of the cloves still in the cup, unable to push them through at all because of the flat pusher, wasting it. So after you peel away the dry outer shells that must go, the rest of the clove is edible and there’s no need to remove more. So now that I’m tired of mincing garlic with a knife and wanted to order another press, I decided to go with one that allows you to use the whole clove. The little bumps on the Zulay cut the clove as it forces it through the holes. The downside is that it’s a little harder to clean it since some leftovers stick to the little bumps, but a brush takes it right off. I also was able to rub it off with my fingers under running water. I wouldn’t say it’s easy to clean, but it isn’t hard either. One positive with the OXO is also that you can put a completely unpeeled clove in the cup and give it a squeeze, then peel off the dry skins easily. The Zulay has the tags on it but I tried it anyway, and it worked pretty well. It cuts into the clove a bit so you can’t do it too hard, or tiny fragments of the dry skin will get stuck in the tiny indentations you just made in the clove. But they’re so tiny it won’t matter at all & don’t think. I’ll experiment on how hard to squeeze to do the trick without much residue. In the reviews some people don’t like how some of the garlic squeezes up and out of it, and I too foud that this does happen to a small degree. But I just push it back in and give another squeeze to press this out as well. You can even see it happening in their own video of their product, but I think the press is designed that way. Not that they’re intentionally wanting garlic to squeeze out the top, but the little pusher has some room around it and I’m guessing it’s necessary for it to have a small amount of wiggle room to move freely into the cup without hitting the sides. Probably they’d receive complaints if that happened, right? So there’s a little bit of wiggle room to make it work smoothly, and as a result a small amount of garlic will sometimes squeeze out. To me that’s no biggie when it works well otherwise, just push it back in again as you go. Easy peasy.

    Seems pretty good
I broke my third garlic press so I bought this one. The hole is large and you can put in multiple cloves at once. It seems pretty sturdy. The peeler was an added bonus that I’ve never tried before. It works well but if you are like me and have been getting it done without a peeler, you probably won’t use it.I am used to a garlic press that folds back onto itself to clean out the garlic. This needs to be cleaned with the little brush they send with it. That is where they lose a star with me.Would I recommend buying it, yes.

You still need to peel of the outer layer or you’ll just be juicing your garlic.
I always wanted to try one. I’d never buy it again, but it does what it’s supposed to do, is of good quality, and easy to figure out how to use. I get a hand cramp trying to press it hard enough, but I’m old. On the down side, it doesn’t actually chop or mince anything. It totally squishes your poor garlic-which, you know, works OK.

    Great garlic press
It works very well to crush 2-3 cloves of garlic at once. I like that is feels heavier to the touch. Well made and like it comes w a little brush to remove small pieces.

    Efficient but gets garlic stuck
I liked the simplicity of the look and it “technically” does the job. Sadly, regardless if you do one or 3 at a time, the garlic will all squish together and only about half will mince. The rest will get stuck to the sides of the device or get stuck to the mini needles side that pushes out the garlic. Its semi easy to clean but definitely not the easiest. Overall, I wouldn’t buy it again but it does the job.

I Hate Mincing Garlic—This Saved Me
I absolutely hate mincing garlic. It’s messy, it sticks to the knife, and somehow ends up under my nails. This garlic press seriously makes my life so much easier. Just throw the clove in, press, and boom—done in seconds. No sticky fingers, no chopping. It even cleans up easy (I rinse it right away or use the little brush it came with). If you cook with garlic even a little bit and hate the prep like I do, this thing is worth every penny.

I struggled with finding a garlic press that worked without husking the garlic first but I finally found this one. It is fairly easy to clean and has held up nicely. The “hopper” for the garlic is a little small. Sometimes I have to cut the clove in half, but it does well otherwise. The only complaint I have is that the interior of the handle pieces have fallen out so I have to glue them back in.

Too much wear and tear after 18 months of use (3-4 times a week). Will get a better one.

Just got one and have used it twice. First it does a good job crushing the garlic weather peeled or not. Second so easy to clean. Time will till if I snap a handle off but so far the handles don’t even flex under use. Seems to be a good buy.
