Tiny but mighty, the LX28 delivers in all the right ways!
Sometimes you need a big massager such as Lunix’s powerful two-head LX26 model, and sometimes you want a pint-size model such as Lunix’s new LX28 Deep Tissue Massager. Unlike a lot of massage guns whose calling card is intense pounding that requires your undivided attention, this unit is more compact and lightweight, making it more nimble for when you want to work on some muscles without it commanding too much of your attention. It’s the ease of handling that makes ease of use this massager’s brightest feature, and I can see this particular model appealing especially to senior citizens and those with smaller hands. This is the kind of massager that you can use one-handed while you read a book or watch TV.Don’t get me wrong, however, because the LX28 brings some serious strength to the table, punching way above its weight class. It features four adjustable intensity levels, and the lowest level would suffice for many users. The top level brings some big-time muscle to your muscles and is especially helpful if you have an achy body after a day of gardening or sore body after taking your nature-strolling, camera-snapping day too far into the overworked-muscle zone. This massager comes with seven massage heads. There’s an acupressure head that can engage your pressure points while boosting circulation, and there are two small nubs, called dual-point heads, that jut out of one part of the unit to target small places. There’s one semi-circular piece, the ball head, for slightly larger areas. You also get four attachable pieces: two strip-like pieces and two small heads, each of which attaches to the flat head. These are fairly easy to snap into place, but I can foresee some audiences having trouble with getting these pieces on securely. The thing is, the Lunix LX28’s on-massager options are plenty to work with, and most folks likely will opt for the acupressure head and the ball head to save time. The convex head attachment might be your best bet for larger areas such as the legs and glutes. This unit is ideal for neck, back and shoulder use and also manages the legs just fine, although a larger unit (consider Lunix’s LX26) might be best for regular leg use, given the surface area to cover compared with the rest of the body. The LX28 features USB-C charging and fast charging, to boot, meaning you can get some mileage out of your massager with just a bit of charging time if you have to run out the door. Even with its incredible battery capabilities, you can rest easy knowing that this massager will automatically turn off after 20 minutes of use. This is especially helpful in case an item pressed up against the power button while the massager is tucked away inside a suitcase during travel.I’m no stranger to Lunix products. Over the years, I’ve bought wedge pillows and several more massagers, including the company’s LX7 Touchscreen Hand Massager and LX21 Shiatsu Foot and Calf Massager in addition to the aforementioned heavy-duty two-head LX26 massager. Lunix knows very well how to design and manufacture quality massagers and other lifestyle goods. I could bet this LX28 Deep Tissue Massager would go over well with my disabled senior citizen mother, suffering from achy joints and post-surgical trauma.I think this massager would make the perfect Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gift.

    Great massager for the price
I’ve had this massager for about a month now and it has worked flawlessly with frequent use the battery lasts a long time. The attachments work well for me and it’s so strong on the first level I haven’t needed to change the speed this makes the battery last even longer for me. I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it especially for the price.

    Massager
This massager feels so nice! My husband loves how deep it can relax his muscles after a long day at work. It’s easy to use, and he’s been holding a long charge. Has interchangeable heads for different purposes. Would make a great gift

    Lowest intensity is too intense
This massager feels well-made, but the vibration isn’t targeted enough and it’s too powerful even on its lowest setting for my small frame. Trying to use it around my shoulders just rattles my entire neck and the base of my head, which is borderline painful and disrupts my vision. Even trying it on my thighs was uncomfortable because the whole entire massager vibrates so heavily that it’s uncomfortable in my hands. If there was some kind of separation or shock absorption between the massaging head and the handle, I could at least use this on my legs, but as-is, it’s just too much for me. It’ll probably be nice for people who are larger in stature or have a muscular build, but I’m about 5’5”/130lb, and I wouldn’t recommend it for the average-build, small-ish person.

    Strong massager
This is a pretty powerful massager. I did not expect this much of strength from a hand-held massager, but it does its job great. The charge lasts quite long too. Feels nice on shoulders. It has four different attachments to vary the massage techniques. Four levels of intensity. I am happy with the purchase.

    Small yet mighty massager
The LX28 deep tissue massage gun is deceptively small – once you turn it on it has a considerable amount of power behind it. It comes with 8 possible massage surfaces: 4 built in and 4 attachments that can be placed over the flat head. The gun and attachments are made from a very soft rubber that feel nice against your skin. The gun produces constant vibration, rather than hammering or knocking motions. I have a lot of pain issues and loved the different surfaces – my favorites are the accupressure head cap (spikes at the end of the gun), Y-shaped head (inwardly curved attachment), and dual-point head (2 sticks built into the side of the massager). I’ve been having knee pain the last few weeks and the Y-shaped head was amazing to massage the curved parts of my knee. The Dual-point head is fantastic to really dig into trouble spots and was especially good on my neck and shoulders, which carry all of my tension. And the accupressure head was nice for all-over relaxation, especially when my husband used it on my back.It also comes with a charger and carrying case. Everything fit neatly in the carrying case and I appreciate that they gave you the wall adapter for the charger and not simply the cord.A few things to note:- I couldn’t find an instruction manual in my box; however, there is a pdf uploaded on the listing that I was able to download to my phone and gave me everything I need to know.- To turn it on, press the power button on the bottom of the gun for a couple of seconds. A short press will allow you to move between the intensity levels.- There are 4 intensity levels. Even the lowest is pretty serious vibration. I didn’t have any problems, but my husband complained that after he used it on me for a couple of minutes his hand went numb.
