Excellent for Adaptives
My 4 year old wears orthotics and I’ve struggled for a while to find quality sneakers that accommodate them. I’ve tried major brands like See Kai, New Balance, and Billy. While they were all good, I found myself having to purchase new pairs every couple months. With Taukihoshi, I found what I was looking for. When you remove the insole is fits his orthotics perfectly. Where I once struggled to get his foot into a sneaker I now effortlessly slide his foot right in. The large opening and wider shoe is a huge help. The quality of the sneaker is also a huge plus. They definitely stand up to the wear and tear of playing outdoors daily. You also get a stylish shoe. I know the price point is a little high, but I’m not having to replace them as frequently as other brands. Would recommend to other parents.

Perfect first shoes.
I love these shoes for my son. The size, fit, and quality are great for the price. My son walks..well runs everywhere in them. I do not find that he trips on them. They are not big and bulky. They are not rigid. They have great flexibility. They clean up very easy by wiping them down or throwing them in the washer. They are made by a pediatric podiatrist and this ensures they are perfect for little feet!

Overall great buy, 3rd pair for us
They hold up during learning to walk, learning to run, and now hard play. Each pair looked brand new after washing, the quality is clearly high. they fit amazingly. My child has a chunky foot with a skinny heel and these fit perfectly. Great support, and around 22 months she could put them on (usually) by herself or with little assistance. They’re flexible and have a cute toe guard. Not too big and it flows well with the shoes design. Plus, they are very cute!
