Very durable. Very sturdy.
This is an excellent cane. I’ve had a few over the years and I can say that this is the strongest, sturdiest and most durable cane I have ever owned. I find it perfect for my use. I weigh 260lbs and when I pull myself up with this cane it doesn’t even notice my weight. It’s solid. The side handle does a great job of helping me get up. I am very satisfied and would buy this cane again.

Made my life easier!
I don’t normally use a cane for walking but I injured my hip and was having a lot of trouble rising from a seated position. I tried all kinds of contortions and suggested movements but it was just impossible. To make matters worse everything I tried seemed to be aggravating the injury. A standard walking cane didn’t help because I couldn’t get the handle low enough to give me the leverage I needed. This cane is fantastic. I have only had it for three days but it has made my life so much easier. I am now able to get up off the sofa or take care of business in the bathroom without worrying about falling or straining my back and hip. I highly recommend this item for anyone that needs help in standing from a seated position.

Stability of walker/convenience of a cane
Severe arthritis in my hip makes using a cane a must for me. I’ve used many different types of canes but this one with the flip down handle is the best by far. It’s helpful when standing from a sitting position but the times I’m glad to have it the most is when going up or down a step like a curb or porch where there is no railing. It gives me that extra grip and security to get up or down safely. It’s like having the stability of a walker with the convenience of a cane. I’ve used my cane for 9 months and it’s held up well. The only problem was the cushioned grip on the handle split a little but it doesn’t change the use of the cane. I can’t imagine ever going back to a regular cane again.

Good cane
I like the rubber grip on this cane, and the rubber tip doesn’t feel like it will slip or slide. I bought this cane to assist in standing up. However, the secondary fold-down handle on this cane doesn’t really do the job for me. I don’t think it is a fault in the design of the cane.

Good sturdy cane
I’d bought one of these from Rite-Aid, and while they appear identical, the feel of this cane is decidedly stronger than the one bought at Rite-Aid. It is very slightly heavier and has lasted longer. When I use the cane to whack things, the metal tube is much less likely to dent. I’ve never used the flip-out side handle, except to pretend the cane is a gun (pew pew).

Great cane design
This is now my husband’s favorite cane. He’s a big guy and finds it to be very sturdy. He really likes the extra handle to help him get out of low chairs, etc. He says the design and texture of the handles is very comfortable.

Too bulky
This cane is heavy and very bulky. Would definitely NOT recommend it!Beware you cannot return it so you are stuck with it.

This cane helps me safely to get where I need to go
I have Peripheral Neuropathy in both of my legs and also both hands. It is getting harder for me to stand up from a chair, walk up and down stairs, and hard to get out of a car. I have also fell quite a few times so I checked to see what was available on Amazon and I came across this cane. I absolutely love it. I have not fallen once since I started using it and has made getting up a whole lot easier and now I can go up and down the ateps with ease.I later purchase the rubber adapter that allows your cane to stand upright on its own and it works good on flat surfaces. I highly recommend this cane.

Versátil, sobre todo para las personas que requieren un apoyo para levantarse

The stand assist handle on this cane is very useful for people who need only a steadying influence to get to a standing position but do not rely on it for support. With only one end on its base, (rather than a tri or a quad base) it would be risky to rely too much on this cane to support your weight and help you to a stand. Find one with a better base of you need to put much weight on the cane. Other wise this is a good device.
