Josie –
So helpful!
Works as it should, has been really helpful for my mom. He space is pretty little. She can push it up and get it out of the way.

Much better than the movable double hand rails!
I am so happy with this purchase! It was for my Mom to help her with getting up and down from the toilet. We had a set of handrails that set over the toilet but were just in the way of everything around it. This thing mounts to the wall behind and to the side of the toilet and has a brace onto the floor for support. It also folds up out of the way so our shower door doesn’t hit it when using that. It was the best purchase I made in regards to the toilet usage helper thingy. Now everyone that sees it and has an elderly parent wants to get the same thing. Very well built and heavy duty!

Sturdy, but hard to keep up
When this folds up and out of the way, I have to twist it to the side to keep it from falling down. It’s nice and sturdy, but not quite as easy to push up and out of the way as I expected.

Easy Install. Works great for a disabled person.

Well made and strong
This is as nice as it looks. Well made and works perfectly. I haven’t noticed the rings glowing in the dark, but maybe out house is not that dark at night.

Problem with folding against wall.
My husband bought two of these to help him off the toilet. It does fold against the wall and stays there by friction in the hinge. The problem is that you must tighten the hinges frequently, (like at least weekly) with Allen wrenches. If not will come slamming to the floor. He mounted these into a tiled wall and found out the hard way that the installation instruction are in adequate. Mounting into tile on drywall with the supplied screws and plastic insert is inadequate. The screws must penetrate substantially into wood. Also, mounting at the recommended spacing of 14.7-inches to centerline of toilet may cause you to put lateral force on the bar; this will cause the bars to rotate as they are not solid like a grab bar. And if not screwed into wood it will break the tile. He would have preferred solid steel grab bar material with a wider mounting plate. He was unable to find a better option within the return period.

The best thing I could’ve done for my life to help her get off the toilet

becomes wobbly & unstable
Folding feature great for cleaning. Installed in an apartment with metal stud construction so difficult to secure to the wall. The u shaped bar has only one end connected to the wall plate so it will twist side ways. The leg not only folds up, but also twists around the lower part of the u shaped bar. It all becomes looser with use so that eventually it is no longer stable with the u shaped bar twisting laterally and shaking when gripped and the leg no longer staying perpendicular to the floor. With all the movement, the drywall eventually tore around the wall plate. It was originally installed professionally with extra long and strong sinkers and lag bolts. I have had to repair the drywall, reinforce the wall with a wood board, and install another set of grab bars with no moveable parts. I would not purchase again.
Amazon Customer –
great bar we had to custom install – wall issue not bar issue

Me convient pas. Pour une roulotte, ancrage pas suffisamment fort.Mais produit d’excellente qualité
WLZ –
Good quality and easy to install.
Cyn –
Very unstable! And 1 month after, it wouldn’t stay flipped up anymore, even after trying to retighten it. Very Poor Quality.

This bar has a lot of give/sway. I use this item for balance, if I used it for getting up it has too much “give”. It’s anchored to the wall properly, the issue is the bar in the bracket
