HANDYwoMAN Meg –
Sturdy and good weight baring safety device for the tub and shower!
Bought this for my 84 year old mother the end of 2020 and just this week, 7/2025, she called me to say it is feeling a little loose and wants me to check it. It has served her well this 4.5 years and I’m sure it will be an easy fix to tighten it when I get over there. She has had a lot of confidence getting in and out of her standard tub to shower all this time. She is 5’7″ (was 5’9″) and about 170 lbs maybe more. Still independent at 88 with the little things that help with her safety!

Lasted for several years
My husband sometimes has trouble with balance. Our shower/tub is situated in the bathroom in such a way that there is no wall to hold onto when you step into the tub. So there was no place to affix a grab bar. I was pleasantly surprised to see this product that you attach to the tub. It worked well. We had it for 3 or 4 years. The silver screw did get rusty, but the product still held firmly onto the tub. We ended up selling that house, so I had to remove it. I was able to remove it myself. I recommend this product.

vive Bathtub Rail Is Sturdy and Well-Made
This is a very sturdy, well-made device. It didn’t work for me because I have a tub with a one-inch high track for shower sliding doors. So this device’s jaws cannot grip the tub for their full length. But for that, I think it would be very, very useful. I delayed returning it in the hope I could figure out way or location to use it safely, but I couldn’t. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was not the manufacturer’s or device’s fault; it was because it wouldn’t work with my tub, and I know when people are looking for advice they check the reviews that are not all five stars to see why.. I almost considered removing the shower doors and their track so I could use it safely.

This is “steady as a rock”
This product installs immediately. Stays put and is “solid as a rock” to help you in and out of shower/tub. It has rubberized pads so it doesn’t scratch the tub surface. The hand hold area has traction when you hold it, so your wet hand does not slip either. I also like that it is rubberized so it is not going to rust. Really good product. Thank you for making this reliable product for tub safety. Appreciate it’s reliability.

Un-secure
This item did not securely fit on bathtub side after winding it many times.

Tub safety rail
Very bulky. Easy to install and remove. Needed to remove after I use so the rest of my family can use.

Fantastic item if you need a handrail to get in a tub.
This is the best thing I got to assist me after shoulder surgery. They are a lifesaver when getting in and out of the tub.

Very impressed
I ordered two of these handles and we’ve only had these for about a week now but I feel confident in giving this review. These handles are made with excellent materials and are built with quality. They are designed in a way that makes them very easy to install and remove. This is helpful for when cleaning the tub or if you’d like to relocate where they are mounted. At first I was worried that they weren’t tall enough but after seeing them installed, they are a perfect height.Their design is primarily to withstand downward force giving you something to lean on. For instance, if you need help with balance or if you have problems where you have trouble supporting your body weight, these will work well for you. If you need something to help get you up on your feet, you’d be better off with a wall mounted handle.
