Great grab bar for a small bathroom area
This grab bar is exactly as described. It is sturdy and was an easy install. When it is not needed it folds up and out of the way. If you have a small bathroom and no nearby wall to put a traditional grab bar in this is the best product to get. The extended leg from the bar makes it extra sturdy.

Nice product but one flaw
I thought this product would be perfect because it wouldn’t require me to drill into the bathroom floor. This it does but it has one major flaw for me. It is great when I lean on it and put downward pressure on it but lifts up when I put upward pressure on it. My handicap requires me to be able to pull up on it and therefore one that is drilled into the floor would’ve been a better choice. The product works as described though and is well-made. The knock down of 2 stars is my fault not the fault of the product.

The extension from the wall (distance) is short, relative to other devices.
Measure the distance from where you want this arm to extend (relative to the back wall) for the person you’re assisting with this. In our case, it’s much shorter than the alternative it’s replacing. Well short of the front of the toilet. Other than that it is as billed.

Would really give this a zero. Came bent, returned it for a refund
It came damaged. The plate for the wall installation was bent at the weld. Could not bolt it to the wall even if I wanted to
