Not strong on the seam
Great idea but air is coming out from the seam. Watch video and you can hear it. My son is autistic and I got it for him but it didn’t last long.Update: Got in contact with seller, they made things right! Happy customer:-)

Comforting canoe
My autistic grandson loves his new “canoe”. That’s what we call it. He burrows down in it and we put a blanket on him and he just feels so comfortable. Best thing I bought for him in a while.

Not durable
My kids loved it however it tears easily it had a hole in it the first night they used it.Business reached out to me stating they wanted me to message back to make things better however both messages seemed very automated and all they told me was thank you for the review and they plan to make it more durable. Do not recommend this product buy elsewhere.

Yes it helps
Bought for my high functioning autistic daughter who struggles a great deal with sensory. This really helped her. Made her calm and feel good. She sits in it and sways side to side at times others she grabs a blanket and pulls it to living room just to lay down. It gives a nice little squeeze which her body needs. I don’t much like how big it is but it’s worth having it around to calm her body and make her feel safe and ok to just sit. If you are a parent that knows them this is a good buy.

Horrible leak on one side – INEFFECTIVE!
I bought this for Christmas for my son with developmental disabilities. He uses the same item at school, and I thought it would be helpful at home as well. As a pediatric physical therapist with years of experience with sensory and adaptive equipment, I was initially impressed with this item. It seemed made well, easy to inflate and the material was soft but supportive. Since then it has been a disappointment. One side of the canoe holds air very well. The other side, however, leaks terribly and deflates in less than a day. It isn’t very helpful for sensory compression if it only stays half inflated. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this item personally or professionally. There are much better options (albiet more expensive) out there.

My daughter loves it
Out there in the great expanse of the child’s domain, amidst the clutter of toys and the echoes of laughter, there lies a vessel of solace. The Ted Kangaroo Sensory Chair – a sanctuary molded in the likeness of a peapod, a haven for the young ones seeking refuge from the ceaseless play. The chair, with its sky-blue hue, stands as a testament to the ingenuity of man. A creation not just to sit but to envelop, to hold the child in an embrace akin to the womb. It is here the child finds calm in the storm, the gentle pressure like the hands of a mother soothing the furrowed brow of her offspring.Inflated with air, it is more than the sum of its parts. It is a companion in the quiet hours, a silent witness to the growing pains of youth. And when the air pump whispers life into its form, it becomes a bulwark against the sensory onslaught that is the world to an untempered mind.Yet, this chair is no immortal construct. It bears the scars of joy, the patches of love’s labor. For what is a sensory chair but a vessel to carry the burdens of childhood? And in its duty, it does not falter. It holds fast, a steadfast guardian in the ever-changing landscape of a child’s room.So let the children come, to sit, to rock, to feel the world around them in the safety of their kangaroo chair. For in its confines, they are free.

Perfect sensory seat for autistic children!
My son is autistic (3) I bought this on a whim, hoping he would at least sit in it to watch tv.The boy spent 2 days in this thing and would wake up and jump right into it!!! He absolutely LOVED the fact that he can “dig in”… he will bury himself into the walls and watch tv and wiggle worm around in it for hours. It seems very durable and well made! This product was a pleasant surprise! I specifically bought THIS one bc it’s made here in America. Good job! We love it!
