peace of mind for 36$ otd is definitely good value (you get 2 dual sets for that price, so it’s really 18$ each; my caregiver decided to use both call buttons: one with me, and the other in the bathroom, in case i forget to take it with me [ i’m not going to wear it around my neck –i’m not 90 or 100 ] ). the little call button lanyard already attached, is easy to take off and remove, in literally seconds –which i immediately did.the beauty of this product is its simplicity, and the fact that everything works, right out of the box. the batteries are already included/pre-inserted, and the receiver just plugs directly into any wall socket. and the receiver has an array of dozens of alarm sounds, to choose from.again, the simplicity of design and operation, plus the fact that everything is ready to go, and ACTUALLY works immediately, right out of the box –are what make this an outstanding product, and show that whoever made this, really understands their audience, and made this product a home run, and rightly suited for the people who are going going to use this. this isn’t some overly complicated and expensive subscription service (where you keep paying forever, every month), meant to summon first responder outside help for life-threatening or dire emergencies. this is just a an in-home summoning system, because the maker understood how real life works, and that there are little natural barriers, that this system allow you to simply bypass (e.g., using the phone doesn’t always work; ringing a bell doesn’t always work; calling out doesn’t always work; a variety of available other paging systems aren’t always simple, therefore, either aren’t practical, or take up too much real estate –so therefore don’t really work well enough; etc.).this product is the REAL INNOVATION:——————————————gets rid of unnecessarily complex ‘improved “technology” ‘ — full of extra bells-&-whistles features that 98% of users either don’t want, don’t need, or aren’t likely to ever use (the technical term is ‘extraneous bs’). i don’t need an app or an iphone or an internet connection, to press a darned button!* most of what gets referred to as “technology” and regarded as “progress”, isn’t really progress at all — it more often tends to be just more to deal with, rather than any true improvement. but somehow, people get fooled; they don’t see the needlessness.Review Summary: simple, FOOLPROOF/RELIABLE call button system, for summoning the helper/caregiver.this is a product that demands no less than 5 stars, and one of those rare ones that i can recommend HEARTILY.

The pros of this alert system are: 1) The range is from the receiver is great. The call button was tested from different rooms, close to and then furthest from the receiver, and from behind closed doors, and each time it was pressed the receiver alarm sounded loud and clear; 2) The call button itself is lightweight enough so that if it was worn as a necklace it is not heavy, or when carrying it in one’s pocket: and 3) The ring at its initial setting is a nice loud volume. There is the ability to adjust the volume of the speaker, but the initial setting is loud enough so as to be heard from different rooms of the home. A very good option to have if you are taking care of elderly or otherwise incapacitated persons who are confined in another room and need a way to call for assistance.
