Good breathable blanket.
The blanket definitely lets heat escape (which is the point).I would consiter it a heavy blanket, not a weighted blanket. Aka it has mass to it, but don’t expect it to “push” on you.By two complaints/observations are:The blanket is rough/rigid. It may soften up and get more flexible after washing, but I haven’t gone that route. Looking at it, I expect the fill material is densely packed within the fabric to provide the weight, in doing so, it makes the individual strands more rigid. I wish it had more weight and more flexibility, but that would add cost to an already expensive blanket.The blanket becomes a “toe trap”. Aka, if my toes are pointing up, my big toes will often find their way through the woven fabric. The blanket is heavy enough that of you have too much hanging off the bed, the weight will cause the blanket to stretch near your toes when you move around, so it takes some fidgiting to “get confortable). To get over this I typically gind myself laying on my side, or angling my feet to the side. I could use a sheet between myself and the blanket, but then that will reduce the amount of heat that can escape.Overall, the my “complaints” are more “I wish it didn’t…”, there is no manufacturing flaw, or mistake. Just limitations by physics.I am happy with my purchase, but I can still dream that somewhere there is a heavier, more flexible blanket out there that still prevents me from overheating at night.

Not a fan of this
I was disappointed with this throw. I thought it would be more flexible and drape-y. It is just too stiff. Although it is a throw, it just seems too small. I am not a fan of the scratchy fabric. On the plus side, it came with its own vacuum bag.Overall, as I said, I do not really like this.

Soft, Weighted Chunky Knit Blanket That Provides Calming Pressure
I’ve wanted both a chunky knit blanket and a weighted blanket for years, and this one from Sleep Zone is excellent and hasn’t disappointed. I ordered the 40″ by 50″ hand-knitted blanket which is 6 pounds in Grey almost a month ago. It’s been working wonderfully, and actually gives me a relaxing and comforting feeling that puts me to sleep. I’ve even taken several naps with the blanket, and I usually don’t nap because I find it hard to fall asleep during the day. I received the Chenille Feather Yarn Throw by Sleep Zone at the same time, and you can see in my first photo that I often put this weighted blanket on top of it. The size is perfect for one person to use, and the weight is heavy enough to give me deep touch pressure.The chunky knit is well-done, and the 100% cotton outer fabric is soft and smooth like snuggling with a favorite T-shirt. It’s breathable, but provides warmth. I love the Grey color because it seems more tranquil, and is neutral to match with other colors. I love how this chunky knit blanket helps me wind down at the end of the day, and puts me to sleep quickly. I’m very happy with this purchase, and I would buy again. If you’re on the fence about weighted blankets, I’d recommend that you try this one. It’s well-made of high-quality materials, and is OEKO-TEX STD 100.💤🌟💤 Sweet Dreams 💤🌟💤

Heavy without heat
This manages to be heavy without being too hot. It’s not very big but it’s high quality and the ends are secured well.
