Good assistive product to improve mobility and steadiness
I purchased this for my 86-year-old mother who has balance issues to help her sit down and stand up from the couch. She likes it and uses it. It was easy to put together, and it is sturdy. The padded top “handlebar” has just the right amount of cushioning for comfort without making it tok bulky to grip.

Just what I was looking for!
It was smaller than I expected, but it turns out it was exactly what I needed. It’s very sturdy, it was very simple to put together, and I’m certain I’ll be using it quite a bit. It makes standing up from a chair, so much easier and safer while I recover from surgery.

Helpful for Assistance in standing, sitting
While the pricing was fair and it was easy to assemble (and disassemble) I am not sure about the sturdiness of this product, as it can move and shift as you are holding on to it. I think the stability is not as good as it could be and therefore, the support is a bit lacking. It is adjustable size-wise so it will fit any sized person, which is a plus.

Waste of money
This product was a complete waste of money. The assembly instructions were incredibly confusing and the pieces felt flimsy and cheap. It never felt securely attached to my couch, making me constantly worried it would tip over. Instead of assisting me, it became another obstacle in my living room. I strongly advise anyone needing a reliable standing aid to look elsewhere.

Incomplete safety pieces, uneven white coating.
The white coating is uneven, and there are areas yellowing on the undercoat. There were only 3 of 4 clips needed to be secure. I will order a different brand.

Was sturdy enough & good quality material. However it cld use a couple holes for ability to move bar lower as was to high for proper balancing getting up from sofa, which made it unsteady..
