This thing is AWESOME!!! I have used SO many different massagers, TENS units, and other specialty forms of pain relief but none compare to this.My chiropractor has a few types of massagers and percussers that he uses, and added this one recently. I was facedown and exclaimed, “What IS that?! It’s perfect!” the first time he used it on me 😆! When he told me he got it on Amazon for $130, I was shocked that it wasn’t several hundred dollars.The quality of this is apparent as soon as you open the box. It has a sturdy case to keep it safe and to store the accessories, which is really nice. Since the massager has some weight to it, having the case feels necessary. (You’ll understand when holding it. It feels like a high quality instrument that SHOULD be stored in a case.)This is heavier any other massagers I’ve tried and that’s a great thing. Imagine an adult giving a neck massage versus a five-year-old; there’s no comparison. The weight allows the vibrations to penetrate deeper. With others, I have had to press down, making my hand almost numb from the vibration. The weight as well as the higher frequency (amount of vibrations per second) of this mean that your whole hand and arm don’t vibrate uncomfortably while holding it. That alone is huge.Huge Bonus value: the booklet that comes with it showing where to massage for specific pains. Not everyone understands what “differed pain” is. That’s where the place that hurts isn’t where the problem is. Sciatic pain down the back of the leg is actually from a low back injury. The booklet shows the painful area, them where to actually massage it, and which type of knob or accessory to use.Conclusion: For the price of a professional massage you can get professional results at home any time. Get this and you’ll be as eager to give a review as I am.

Wow. Unexpectedly great
I’m impressed. This is a wonderful massager, with lots of power, more power than I’m used to having in a massager. I only use this massager on the lowest power level because that’s all I need. It isn’t too powerful and doesn’t bruise my skin. It’s easy to hold and isn’t too heavy. I say that as a woman with small hands, gray hair, and so-so muscles.You can feel the vibration somewhat through the handle when the massager is turned on, but I don’t notice the vibration unless I think about it.The design of this massager is thoughtful. I appreciate that the different massage heads are permanently affixed to the top of the massager so they don’t wobble and you don’t have to stop and change heads. None of the heads have sharp edges to cut you. All of them feel nice and smooth.I prefer using the bigger metal head, as it has a nice curved shape and covers more of my skin at one time. I can use it directly on my skin or over my clothes. The smaller metal head can be used to dig deep, but I seldom need that. The bigger black silicone(?)-covered head is best used directly on the skin, as it tends to drag when used on cloth-covered skin.If you buy this massager, read the instructions. Really, for once, just read them. They have some important caveats. Don’t use the massager in certain places on your body or if you have certain conditions. Keep the massager moving. Limit how long you use the massager each time. Etc. Please read them.The storage case is well made and has a zipper that goes around far enough to open the case so it lays flat. The massager fits snuggly into a molded well in the case. There’s a pocket on one side of the case to store the instruction manual and charging cord. It’s nice to store everything in one case, with the massager protected against being banged around, instead of storing all this stuff in a ziplock bag.The charging instructions were a little confusing, so here’s the skinny. Just plug one end of the charging cord into the bottom of the massager and the other end into your power source. The lights on the bottom of the charger will light up. First one light will be lit, then two lights will be lit, then three, etc., until all five lights are lit at the same time. Then all the lights will go out, and the sequence starts again. You’ll know the charger is completely charged when all five lights on the bottom stay fully lit. That’s it.I don’t know how long the massager will run before it runs out of charge; I tend to recharge after every three or four uses. In my experience, even with the first charge, it charged faster than the instructions indicated.Everybody’s body is different, so I respect that your experience may vary. This massager may be too powerful for you or too heavy or whatnot. You may have a condition that makes this massager not right for you. As for me, I have a fairly sensitive body, and it’s worked great for me.

Close enough to the real deal
Ive tried the original version of this at my chiro. This one is powerful and radiates deep through the muscles. It is missing the gentle vibration you get from the original when it sounds like sand shaking in a maraca. Still a worthy massager considering its build quality and price point. It is more effective than most percussive massagers on the market. 4.7 stars ⭐️

Entre des mains expertes, ce produit est carrément miraculeux. Doit bien connaître la musculature, tendons et parties plus fragiles de l’ossature. Très puissant, je n’ai jamais besoin d’aller plus haut que la 2e force. Il se recharge rapidement et semble d’excellente qualité. Similaire a un ancien produit Québécois (Sonafon), mais puissance x10.

I received a second Hyako R1 massager yesterday as the first one was defective and now so far works like a charm.Since I have used the massager for a limited time I can the following improvements suggestions.-The handle should be a little slimmer for us ladies to be able to grab it better-Power button should be on the handle not at the bottom as it you have to put it down to increase the speed.-The battery should be replaceable otherwise once it stops working you have to purchase a new one.I’m not sure if I like all massagers heads going at the same time but I like the idea of having all massagers heads on the tool so that you don’t have to switch..
