Just like my Great Gramma’s! It works!
I have an elderly friend who lately has been having difficulty opening jars. I was telling her about this nifty opener that I inherited from my Gramma when I moved into my first apartment in 1976… she had inherited it from HER mom upon marriage in 1929! It was so useful that she gave one to myMom as well when she married in 1955!I have seen them over the years , but the handles were plastic.Came on Amazon just to see if I could find one like mine… and here I found it. It stacks up pretty well against myOriginal – wooden handle and all. I hope it lasts as long!

The best jar opener that I own.
I can truthfully say that this is the best jar opener that I own, and I have two other ones. One is a hand one, and the other is an electric one. This one outshines the electric one by 90%. This one works so smoothly, and it can adjust to very small lids to very large lids. It is very well made and heavy duty. It isn’t hard to use and it’s small enough to store in a drawer.
