Super easy to use and has been perfect for productivity!
As someone who has a lot of different things to get done, it is so easy to attempt to multitask and get distracted – but having this Pomodoro timer has been super helpful for “gamifying” my productivity by making it seamless to set discrete periods for focusing on one task.Modes: The timer is very straightforward and intuitive to use. It has a switch for counting up and down as well as a switch for alarm volumes (vibration, low, and high). I pretty much only use it in the vibration mode and in the counting down mode. The four timer setting (5, 10, 30, and 60 minutes) are also super easy to set – just with the orientation of the timer! And to pause or reset the timer, it’s just an easy flip the screen up or down. No button presses or fidgeting to set it! The display is easy to read from different orientations and the text rotations depending on which orientation you have it in. It’s super simple but yet feels well-designed and intelligent.Battery: The timer is rechargable by USB-C and comes with a USB-C charging cable. I am able to use it for usually over a week on a single charge.Overall, I’d highly recommend this product for anyone who wants a seamless way to practices the Pomodoro method or just anyone looking for a way to focus their productivity. I’ve actually had friends see me using it who have asked me to send them the link to the product!

Mostly Very Helpful
As someone with ADHD, trying to focus on work can be a challenge. I’ve found that blocking chunks of time for a task with another smaller chunk of time for a break to follow works well for me as long as I can keep the timer front of mind. When I try to use the clock function on my computer, it often gets in the way or lost behind other windows and I don’t know how much time I have until it’s going off. If I use my phone, I end up pulled into my phone instead of staying locked in on my tasks. As such, I was very excited to try a physical timer like this. This is super simple to use! Just turn it on (setting 1) with the switch on the back and then flip it to whatever time you want to count down from. If you need to pause you can flip it up with the display on the top, and if you want to count up from zero you just need to flip it to setting 2 on the power switch and hit the big button in the middle. Pausing works the same way. The display is bright enough to be seen in any lighting condition that exists in my office when I’m working without it ever being too bright to be a distraction or so dim that it’s hard to read. It’s louder than I’d prefer on the audible alarm setting, but I’ve found that the vibrate alarm works great since it makes some sound and if I have headphones on I can feel my desk vibrating, plus I can very clearly see the zeros flashing. The form factor is nice on this: it’s big enough to be legible but not so big to be bulky or in the way. The battery lasts a crazy long time! It’s decently light but heavy enough to be a paperweight for light breezes. There are two reasons it only gets 4 stars from me. First is that for some reason, about a third of the time that I flip it up to pause it, it resets the timer instead of resuming from where it was when I flip it back down. I’ve tried different spots on my desk and being extra careful about speed or tilt and I can’t quite figure out why this happens. Not a huge deal but it is annoying. Second is that after some amount of time on pause while on the count up timer (and maybe on the regular count down too but I don’t generally leave that paused long so it hasn’t happened to me), the display will turn off and then at some point the time will reset when you go to wake it up to resume. I believe it might have said something about the display sleeping in the instructions, but it didn’t mention losing the count. The first time this happened to me I was using this to track a pretty critical number and I had to restart the work when it had decided to reset, which was real frustrating. Now I know at least, and you do to if you’re reading this. This issues in mind, this thing is still incredibly useful, and especially for under $20, I can’t think of a better time management tool!

Helps corral my ADHD
So….ADHD. Yeah. Squirrel! Seriously though, I can get easily distracted by something non-productive for hours without realizing it. This little square timer has been very handy. I’ll pick the appropriate time before I start anything. One, it tends to keep me on task but two, if I do get horribly distracted at least the alarm will go off eventually and I’ll be able to get myself back on track.Construction quality is nice and it looks good on a desk. It is very easy to use. You basically just set it down on the side with the number of minutes you want and forget about it. It’s super simple and the timer is rechargeable with a USB C cable so no worrying about having batteries around if it runs low. This timer has not been a perfect panacea for my attention issues but it has been a noticeable help. I’ll take all the help I can get so I am quite happy with this little timer.
