Safe pain fidget when you need a sensory redirect or nervous system reset
These “Little Ouchies” pain fidgets are somewhat thinner (circumference) than most on the market, and that’s not a bad thing; they’re a little more discreet, and give a sharper sensation than the others. I like the option of having both types handy. They’re very effective in redirecting my focus from whatever is causing me anxiety, and even help take the edge off my painful and debilitating migraines. They seem to trigger a neurological reset of sorts, disrupting pain and anxiety signals. However it is they work, I’ll take it!!These fidgets are small enough that I can keep one on my keyring and discreetly use it when I need it. They’re also attractive and come in some really fun colors. I look forward to introducing these to my Special Education students who need something of this sort to help get them through the challenges that happen in the course of a typical school day.

    A Unique Sensory Experience
These spiky little cylinders made of hard plastic are a unique sensory experience; I wouldn’t use the word “pain” necessarily; rather, the hard spikes cause more of a tingling discomfort likely from hitting pressure points in your palms which really draw your focus back to your body. It’s almost akin to going to get a massage and they hit that one spot where the discomfort is outweighed by how much better the muscle feels afterwards. But this is small, portable, and two of them change color! They fit easily into your hand and are lightweight. They do make a bit of noise due to the chain moving back and forth against the plastic, but it isn’t overly noticeable and can be easily rectified by simply removing the chain entirely. These are certainly worth trying if you are on the hunt for small, discreet ways to relive stress.

    Ow but not Ouch
I love this fidget so much! I am usually one who prefers hard tactile fidgets like tangles, button clickers, and fidget cubes so if you like those you might like this. When I get extremely anxious I tend to be more sensory seeking and will pick at my skin or face, sometimes until I bleed. So far this really helps me to leave my skin alone during those stressful moments. It hurts my hands just enough to stop focusing on being anxious without damaging my skin. Another huge pro for me is that this fidget is quiet and really lightweight so you can take it almost anywhere. Now the down sides, one, because this is 3D printed the little ridges tend to trap dirt and grime so you will need to wash it regularly. Two, if you drop it by accident it is surprisingly loud, like way louder than you would expect it to be. Three, it isn’t exactly ergonomic in its design, sure it will fit in smaller hands, but it doesn’t fit as good as it could, maybe if it was ovalish in shape it would be better? I’m not exactly sure. Four, the spikes themselves could be deeper or a tad bit pointier but that’s more of a personal preference. Five, for the price its only okay, there are other sellers who have these for a lower price or have two or more for the same price. So for those things I am knocking down a star, but as for the product itself its great!Overall if you prefer harder fidgets over squishy or soft fidgets, need something quiet and not too distracting for others, and have a tendency to pick at yourself this might be a good option for you.

    Fun And Convenient.
These are great little fidgets! The colors vibrant and the rainbow one has a metallic shine to it. They are prefect size to fit in one hand and shockingly light weight. They are also pretty difficult to break I tried bending and dropping them but they didn’t budge. The built in keychains are nice since it adds the option to attach it and take it with you places. My only complaint is they seems a bit on the cheep side but they do their job and are sturdy so I can’t complain too much. For the price I think they are worth it

    Best pain stim toy
I’d recommend these to anyone who has tendencies to bite fingernails or pull the skin off around your fingers these give the perfect pain stimulation without genuinely physically hurting someone

    Not for me, odd
I found this particular fidget item odd. It was not for me and I ended up tossing it in the trash.

    Functional, but lacking.
I’ve been exploring which kind of stim toys work best for my needs, and I have been intrigued by these slight pain stimulus items. I think this one is probably suitable for most people’s needs, but I was a little disappointed, personally. I had wanted the points to be…pointier. This one works fine and fits my grip nicely, but it may not work well for someone with larger hands (mine are small to medium, women’s), and don’t expect there to be any added bonus sensory stimulation (like wight/shifting weight). I found the material to be very light, and the keychain feature was flimsy (broke first outing). Honestly, if you are making a gadget that is for fidgeting I recommend not making the keychain connection so flimsy that it snaps at first fidget. Also, if this is intended to be for discreet stimulation, having a ball chain rattling against plastic may not be the most stealth-conducive addition. I can think of several ways to improve this thing, but for the price it does the trick, I guess.
