So Happy With It!
Does exactly as it says and it’s been an added peace of mind using it for my adult special needs brother who lives with us. He’s gotten up in the middle of the night to retrieve something that’s fallen from his tv table and the alarm went off as it was supposed to do. Highly recommend in those situations you care for someone!

I used this product while taking care of my mother. It worked really well. When she tried to get out of bed unassisted the alarm would sound to get my attention. This was great.

Easy and Effective
I bought this product for my mom after she had a stroke to alert us when she gets up. It was very easy 1-2 set up and immediately alarms when someone steps on it. Only thing I wish is that it was either louder or came with a second remote receiver that could be placed in my room to hear the sound sooner. The way my house is set up by the time I hear the alarm my mother is already up and walking without someone there to watch her. I had to purchase an additional baby monitor so I could hear it sooner and respond quicker. This is more of an issue at night when I am asleep from my bedroom. During the day when I am in living room it is easier to hear.

The mat works great. Does the job it is suppose to do as described and is keeping our elderly loved one safe from falls. However, item was shown as being compatible with a 12 volt adapter which was supposed to eliminate the need for battery use, not the case. There is nowhere on the unit to plug in an adapter. So don’t be fooled into buying the adapter like I was. Other than that the item meets all expectations.

Happy with purchase
Used floor mat to alert me when spouse stepped out of bed to use the bathroom. The mat is large, so there is no chance that feet on the floor will miss it. The alarm is loud enough to hear, but quiet enough not to jar you. Be aware that the monitor is battery operated, and the cord to the monitor is not very long. The monitor will likely need to be in the same room as the mat; or, in our case, the bed is close enough to a door to run the cord out the door and into the next room. Worked perfectly for me.

It works but, the alarm is not very loud and the cord is too short to take the alarm into another room. If I’m awake and the TV’s not too loud I’ll hear it in time to get there in time to assist my mother. It’s loud enough to wake me if I’m in the same room but certainly not if I’m sleeping in another room which is the whole point of having an alarm!A loud alarm in the same room my mother is sleeping is not an option either because it would startle her and possibly cause her to fall.

Easy set up!
I like the fact that it is battery operated, jeweler I was under impression it was both. BATTERY BACKUP BUT ITS NOT!. I Kinda wish there was an easy way to turn off by a push of a button but I ou have to slide buttom off. Then remember to turn it back on. It works great for my husband who has Parkinsons and falls or freezes at night using bathroom. One other thing could be a weight amount as we have a dog and cat th as t can set it off. The dog weighs 23 lbs and the cat Maybe 7. You can also reverse sides if you need more non slide area.

this mat is wonderful. my mom is 92 years old and was getting out of bed and falling. when her feet hit the floor and the alarm goes off she stops and waits for me to get to the bedroom. Previous to the mat i called 911 3 times. this has been a life saver.

I bought this mat to place at the bedside of my elderly aunt who has dementia. I am now able to get a better sleep during the night knowing that the minute she gets out of bed and steps onto the mat the alarm goes off on my monitor. This cordless mat is important as the alarm does not ring at the bedside therefore not scaring her. It is expensive, but worth it to me. I no longer have to sleep with one ear open.

Planned obsolescence!. The price is high for only one year. Warranty is for one year and mat failed exactly after one year of use. Now buying a much cheaper version and see how long it lasts.
