The best jar lid remover ever
This has been so handy in so many instances removing stubborn jar lids. It’s the best by far of any of the lid removers I’ve tried over the years, and I’ve tried several. It has a large handle that is easy to grip and provides a lot of leverage. It’s very cleverly designed with gears that tighten on to the lid and the harder you turn the tighter it grips. Very ingenious! It’s become such a staple in our house I have two and I bought several more to give as gifts. Every kitchen should have one.

Not so great.
This does not really open anything, all it does is move around and around the lid I’m trying to open. I’ve even tried to put a dish rag or even a soft rubber cloth that’s supposed to help a person open jars but it just doesn’t work. I’ve had 3 other people try and open a jar or a bottle and it just does not work.

Seems weird at first, but pops the jar right open!
There is an unusual way this needs to sit atop the item and turn, but don’t overthink it.. Just put it on and twist the bar and the few jars I have used it on popped open without any effort on my part — which is very different from the normal of banging, struggling and water boarding the top until it decides to open. I would recommend.

No more struggling. Great tool to use for my arthritic hands. Very easy to open jars. Sturdy easy grip plastic handle. Reasonable price for something I use very often.

EVERYONE’s OPENER, Don’t have to elderly or arthritic
I really like this can opener. I have tried many openers. This one is the winner! I usually have to wait until someone visit to get a jar opened. I needed a jar of pickles opened 16 oz jar. I used the opener and it opened. I had a small jar of ginger that I couldn’t open. I was disappointed and thought I had to wait for someone to come over and open it. Then I remembered I had the opener. I tried it on the tiny jar, it opened. I recommend this opener—-for a weak young persons or elderly persons. Not for just the elderly. When I was 20 years I couldn’t open jars. Stop advertising for elderly and those with arthritis. There are also weak men that have difficulty opening jars.

Impossible to open a jar with 3 1/4″ metal lid.The opener has lacks to “grip” – always slips while turning handle.The plastic cap opened on the fifth try only with difficulty.

This little item is the bomb!
My wife recently had surgery on her right hand and was unable to open even the easiest of jars. She would always have to call for me or someone else to open things for her.With this Easy Grip Jar Opener, she can open almost all but the most stubborn lid.We bought one for her 96 year old mom and now her mom can open her own jars too.This is a gift anyone would welcome so we highly recommend it.
