Customers say
Customers find this keyboard to be of high quality, with a solid build that doesn’t feel like a flimsy $10 model, and appreciate its quiet operation similar to membrane keyboards. The keyboard features a nice heavy weight that prevents it from sliding around the desk, and customers praise its responsive keys with satisfying clicks and good tactile feedback. While many customers say it works well, some report issues with keys stopping working reliably.

High-quality keyboard
I’d never heard of the company Cherry before, but it was one of the one’s recommended in my research in finding a new keyboard for work. I’ve gotta say, this looks like your typical standard computer keyboard, but it is far and above better in design, feel, and performance (Cherry is a German company so the high standards of German engineering have been applied here). The marketing touts the Stream as ‘whisper quiet,’ which it is not. The best way I can describe the Stream is that the keys have the tactile feel of a high-end laptop with the extended real estate of a full-size keyboard. It’s not as loud as the ‘clicky-clacky’ keyboards of early computers but it’s not as quiet as a flat keypad either; it’s somewhere in-between. The keys have an elegant snap to them and I find my fingers flying as I type which makes it fun to use. The layout is also well thought out with extra hot keys in the upper right-hand corner plus slightly larger than normal ‘CTRL’ keys on the ends making it less likely to hit other keys by mistake when using the ‘CTRL’ key for short-cut commands. The unit itself also has a high quality feel to it compared to cheaper models which feel more like plastic toys than serious office tools. Some things to consider is that this unit is not wireless (I needed a wired USB-A for my old work computer) nor does it have an illuminated keyboard. So if those are qualities important to you then this is not the model for you. But if you’re looking for a solid, basic, full-size wired keyboard that is built like a tank and performs like a workhorse, then this model is worth your consideration.

Great action, super quiet, perfect amount of click.
Excellent keyboard, exceedeed expectations. I wanted something inexpensive and most importantly quiet. My previous keyboard, a Logitech K120 was so loud. I partially thought that maybe it was just the cheap IKEA desk that I had it on resonating, but that was not the case at all after using this Cherry. The thing is so solid, it has a really solid heavy, in a good way, metal frame that dampens the noise. The action is perfect. Just a bit more throw than a laptop, but much less than a run of the mill cheap desktop keyboard. Highly recommend. Especially for $20. Super worthwhile upgrade if you type a lot or even just do normal amounts of work at your PC. It will make your experience much more enjoyable. As I type out this pretty long review, for me.

Who knew keyboards could be this nice?
I purchased one of these keyboards to replace my wife’s keyboard and wow was I shocked when I received it. It came in a typical sized keyboard box, but it felt really heavy which confused me since most keyboards weigh nothing. Then I opened it and I had to look at the order details to make sure I received the correct order. This is a really, really nice keyboard. It’s quality is off the charts. Very smooth, quiet action. A perfect blend between low and standard profile keys. The keyboard is rigid, heavy, stays planted and overall is just a fantastic keyboard. I immediately ordered another one for my office and it’s been amazing. The volume, play, and calculator keys are a great bonus. Excellent buy.

Nice Solid Keyboard
I researched a lot of keyboards before I choose this one. I wanted something wired, low-profile and relatively quiet but with some sort of tactile experience. I would say this fits the bill. The quality is nice. The keyboard has weight to it and it feels well made. Check the video for how the keys sound. I think they are very pleasant to type on. They make little bit of noise but they are not loud.I didn’t want some flashy keyboard so I like the discreet black design. Setup was easy – just plugged it in and it worked great.I’ve had no issues. I have rated it 4 stars because I can’t say it’s the perfect keyboard. I have had to get used to it and I think there is something about the layout or size that hurt my left hand for a bit. I am used to it now and I do enjoy using this keyboard. I think it’s great for the price. But someday I will try other keyboards for sure.

If you loved logitech flat ultrax, you’ll love this
Now that I’ve bought a second one as a “backup” I can share this; was reluctant before to make sure people dont buy them out. ;-)If you are like me, who absolutely loved logitech flat ultrax, and wept when they stopped making those… Yes, this is the next version of those. Yes the keys feel great. It’s a bit closer to the second model of ultrax (a bit more force needed to press the button – initially), but I’m sure with time I’ll wear those down a bit and make them work like ultrax v1. 😉 As a flat ultrax lover, I never found a better keyboard, until now. Not only we get a TKL version, but this boy is so thin, and quiet… And has the perfect weight. A bit heavier than ultrax I believe, does not feel like a flimsy $10 keyboard. I’ve tried numerous mechanical low-profile keyboards and they all had something that just didn’t feel right. Either the key travel or the actuation force never clicked (ha ha) with me. Cherry Stream feels like typing on those old IBM/Lenovo keyboards, where the designer paid more attention to the typing comfort than how they looked (not saying they looked bad, though). I stashed around 8-10 other keyboards after getting this one, just because the typing comfort tops them all easily. If you’re thinking I’ve said the same thing too many times, you’re right, but that’s just because I love typing on this keyboard, it’s simply a pleasure. I could produce more clone/nonsense sentences, just to enjoy the experience of typing on this GOOD BOY.I love that keyboard. I hope they never stop making them. Personally I believe no other keyboard comes close to how right they got the feel on this one. Thank you so much.IMPORTANT EDIT: this is NOT a gaming keyboard, though. it registers up to three keys pressed at the same time, but if you need 4+ more, it just wont work. Best typing keyboard, not necessarily the best gaming keyboard, depending on your game.

Het is een heel prettig toetsenbord ter vervanging van mijn vorige Cherry die al 20 jaar oud was en nog steeds goed werkt.

I was searching for TenKeyLess low profile keyboard for a long time. Finally I found it. This is a global delivery. But, well worth every rupee. These are scissor key switches. Their layout is perfect. Very less key travel. They are comfortable to press.I never use the numpad, so for me this is PERFECT. That numpad space is used for the Mouse. You don’t have to download any software for this keyboard. Just plug it in and work.CAPSlock and ScrollLock keys have LED indicators. You get a separate media keys row on the top. Function keys are separate. There is no “Fn” key nonsense. You have the key for right click menu.I was using Cherry MX Brown mechanical switches with my previous keyboards. They are great, but I wanted something lowprofile. Same company is now making low-profile keyboards as well. What more do I want. 🙂 Great keyboard. For gaming, maybe you can go with mechanical keyboards. But, for WFH setup and everyday use this is a super keyboard.

I have to say, I spent so much time comparing different keyboards. Mechanical, slim, membrane, scissor-switch, red, brown, blue switchers, Keychron, Ducky, Logitech, Microsoft, Dell the list goes on…I even ended up buying a Keychron slim keyboard along with my Microsoft membrane board. I’ve tried traditional mechanical keyboards and membrane keyboards and I have to say, without any doubt… This is 100% the BEST keyboard I have ever used by a long way.Firstly, it is a quality made product. Plastic, yes. But the plastic is of a fine grade, feels “tight”, that’s the best way I can put it. Nice to the touch. There’s a very fine “grainy” quality to the plastic that I’ve never experienced before, but it’s as if it is a denser grade of plastic. Feels so solid, and beautiful to touch and type on. Typing action is “punchy”, borderline “clicky”. Especially for what is technically membrane. If you’re used to membrane, these “scissor-switches” will blow your mind. They feel fantastic. It really does have a nice clicky-ness to it that will improve your typing accuracy and just feels just so much more satisfying to type on without hurting your hands/wrists at all.And this was my final point. If you are buying this keyboard for ergonomic or injury reasons due to RSI, wrist, hand or arm problems – this is the keyboard for you. It’s smaller TKL form factor leaves your arms more room to move and is far more comfortable while using a mouse. It’s great for ergonomics, as is the super-slim design.Bonuses: media keys up the top. Do not feel as nice as the regular keys (letters and numbers) below. However, this is a very nice addition, and it is what drew me to the Stream TKL in the first place.Buy it. I spent literal weeks deciding whether or not to get the Cherry Stream TKL, and now look at me. Writing an essay on how much I love this keyboard. I wish I bought it sooner.
