The best home assistant buttons I’ve found so far
I’ve tried out several different types of buttons from many companies including the likes of IKEA and a few other companies from Amazon and they all suck compared to these. Their main issue is that they all “sleep” to try and save power so if you don’t use them regularly, like multiple times a day, they’ll go to sleep and you’ll have to hit them twice to get a button to register. These just work. I have a button next to my front door that I have set up to turn all my lights and my TV off so I can just hit one button on my way out. I use this naturally about once a day. All the other buttons I’ve tried you have to hit twice. These just work like you expect. Even “worse” I have a button at my desk that turns some task lighting on at my desk if I want to get lots of light on whatever I’m working on, that button can sit idle for days or up to a week sometimes, it always just works.Unlike the listing says these are compatible with Home Assistant, you don’t HAVE to use their hub. They’re very simple to set up in home assistant, fairly sturdy so far I haven’t had any of them fail yet. No disconnects or any issues after getting them set up. They can be a little fiddly to get connected in Home Assistant but I think that’s just my setup.They’re a nice size, easy to push the button, they don’t look really cool or anything but in the same aspect the don’t stand out either.

The device works with SmartThings it’s just a pain to do. All of the KBs written are for the old SmartThings; however, I believe the solution that got mine working was the following drivers by searching Google for “Smartthings Channel obmaz” -> the first thing that shows up should be his GitHub -> From within Github you will see a URL halfway down the page that states “You can enroll the channel and install edge drivers by using invitation URL” -> From here you click the Available Drivers Icon -> wait a minute or so for the page to load -> Click Install the driver titled “zigbee-aqara-button” -> This is where the unknown nightmare of pairing starts… I believe the issue is first you need to wait a few minutes for the driver to load to your SmartThings. From the Smart Things app click the Plus button, Click Add Device, Click Searching for Devices -> From here, hold down the tiny button at the top for roughly 3 seconds the light will flash blue then let go of the tiny button, and every one thousand and one press the button and promptly let go and repeat until the device shows up. If the searching for devices times out, go back to the room where you started to add the device and make sure that the device didn’t just show up. I hope this helps! Note: If you continue holding down the tiny button for too long, you will just keep resetting the device versus every one second keeping the device alive. Also, make sure that you are close to the SmartThings Hub at least 15 feet from it, and are connected to the same Wifi Network as the hub!

Great wireless button, not always reliable
I just got into doing some home automation using Homekit and have found the Aqara devices to be a great group of products. First off, yes, you DO need the Aqara hub. The description is very clear about this, so anyone who is giving this product 1 star because of that really needs some help and is being unfair to the product.Once you connect the switch to the Aqara hub, what’s nice about it is that it exposes all three button modes to Homekit, so you can assign any automations you like with other Homekit compatible accessories right from the Apple Home app or other Homekit apps like Eve or Home+ 4.Currently, I’m using these to launch different lighting scenes in different rooms. The only issue I’ve experienced so far is the fact that they don’t tend to work all the time. You press the button and nothing happens. You wait and press it again. Nothing. Then it works the third time. Most the time, they DO work as advertised. I use the single press to launch one lighting scene, double press to launch a different lighting scene, and long press to turn off all the lights. Of course what you assign the button modes is completly up to you!Once last note about these is that since they use a Zigbee signal (I believe Aqara uses a bit of a non-standard version), the range is pretty good. My hub is upstairs and most of my sensors and buttons are downstairs, and all of them show signal strength ranging from acceptable to strong. I will only purchase wifi or zigbee based accessories and am staying away from Bluetooth only devices with their horrible signal ranges.

Ürünü evimde kullandığım Yale marka akıllı kapı kilidini dışarıdan açmak / telefonu evde unuttuğum da (kapı anahtar kullanımını iptal ettim) kapıyı açmak için gizli bir anahtar niyetinde kullanmak için aldım. Aqara G2Pro Kameramı Aqara ürünleri için zaten hub olarak kullanıyordum. Bu cihazıda onun üzerinden Aqara uygulamasına ekledim üzerinden kendisi zaten Homekit’e eklendi. Cihaz homekitte direk gözükmediyse kullandığınız hub hangi odada ekli ise oraya geliyor ama ana sayfada gözükmüyor. Kısacası benim gibi HomeKit için alacak olanlara sorunsuz çalıştığını söyleyebilirim. Tek, çift ve uzun basış özellikleri var.
